Except for the fact the 90 percent of the copies were included in the wii. You would have to be an idiot to think someone payed for this game. Here in america where millions of wii have been sold, you couldn't buy the wii without getting it. Come on.

As an owner of both machines I could give a rats @ss if this game even comes out. I am probably in the minority but I like games that are actually fun. I have tried these games every generation and I want to fall asleep while playing. Big waste of microsofts money if you ask me. Unless this game sells 8 million copies which it probably wont I don't think it matters.

Is that my 16mb per sec. according to speedtest.net, downloads at about 1 mb per second, and since I have an extremely fast connection compared to most broadband, 700kb per second to 2 mb per second, yes it is along ways away until enough people have the kind of speed needed. Not to mention the fact that download speeds at prime times are considerably slower. Like I said 10 years until it hits the majority of america at least. Most of my friends, some in big cities are moving at a snails ...

There is still a big need for a middle man. Until download speeds get to be more than just a crawl there will be a need. As files get bigger for games, like blue ray games for ps3, those download speeds are going to keep things like onlive on the back burner. Most people like myself who have fast internet speed, 16mb per sec. still want to hold the disc in my hand and read through the manual. Most of my gaming friends don't even go online for games, I am the only one out of our group that...

Its not like gamestop holds a gun to peoples heads to by things there, I have only purchased one game there ever. I go to best buy, walmart, etc. to get my video game fix. Once I saw what they offered for trade ins I chose not to do business there anymore. To hope they go out of business is very sad for someone to want. If you don't like there business practices don't do business there, period.

At my local best buy in Billings, Mt it was packed by the time they opened, there were guys grabbing all sorts of stuff. I got quantum for 360 and soul calibur for ps3. It was worth noting that I was only one looking at ps3 games, it was full of 360 boys talk about nerdsville this morning. They sold out in about 15 minutes for 360 games, still tons of ps3 and ds games though.

I have a 14mb per second cable speed, and I still think it takes way too long to download something of the size of a blue ray disk, I think we are 20 years away from enough people having the type of speed neaded to make digital download a true reality. It seams every couple of years the file sizes of media get bigger and bigger and the broadband speed does not even come close to keeping up.

means nothing I guess, the fact that they are still turning a profit overall, unlike sony, they should just get desperate and do something stoopid like bring out windows 7 early, that worked well for vista.

a loss of 31 million for a company that makes billions, you do realize a billion is a 1000 million, so that is just a blip, and I am a stock holder and realize that gaming is such a small small part of the pie.

does nothing but make money. Even in this economy when companies like sony lose billions, Microsoft still cherns out incredible profits, even if they are down from last year that is incredible, now only if my stock in them would increase, oh well the fact that they pay a dividend means, I made money. wooo hooo

ffVII for 360 would be dumb, thats what someone said, I don't get it. What games are coming out? 13 or 7 or what.

6131d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

It was the first game I rented after I bought my ps3, don't get it. I am a 37 year old gamer, so maybe Its just not my cup of tea. Played it for about an hour.

Since I don't play ff games, why is there so many different ones that don't seem to go in order. ffVII arent they on number thirteen or something. Any info would help. Thanks.

and I was not that impressed. I bought a ps3 for this game specificly and find myself playing uncharted more. I thought graphics were good, but not crysis good. I played about 2 hours worth and havent' played it since. I prefer gears of war 2, not the graphics, but the gameplay. Just my opinion, I am sure the disagree and bubble takers are on there way.

Way to be proud that you will steel the game. woo hoo. Have fun playing on a pc. For my taste you can't beat a console for having fun playing a game regardless of how powerfull your computer is, I like sitting in my big chair playing on my 52 inch tv.

Its not like I could in america go buy a wii without it for 200. LIke I said, I don't see people paying 50 bucks to throw a frisbee to a dog, or sword fight. How many actual copies of wii sports were purchased by themselves? If you know let me know, because all the numbers I see are wii sports sold equal to wii sold.

6137d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

They don't sell near as many of this title as they did wii sports. Who's gonna pay 50 bucks to play sword fight and toss the frisbee to a dog. Good God are you nutz.

So I guess you could say I have a vested interest, except that gaming is such a small part of there business that it doesn't really matter.

but come on no matter how anyone spins it. With 100 million ps2 players out there, the fact that the God like playstation brand hasn't even come close to doing what everyone thought it would do. I waited a while before I bought my ps3, most of my friends had ps2's but bought 360's because they were out first. I had a ps1 got burned by 3 dead machines, so I bought an xbox, I am the only one out of my group that has both machines, the rest still only have xbox 360;s so there are 12 ps2 playe...
