Both consoles offer fine content. I think MS and Sony are bringing new consoles far too early. But I'll still buy them. I don't think people realise that by the time scorpio releases and neo for that matter they'll both be mid performing gpus again. Back to the start as the PC has moved on. I don't for one second believe either of them when they say the new consoles won't get exclusives. Mark my words they'll both abandon the older consoles

343_ it's called options. As said Sony being the console market leader and buying so many more chipsets off of AMD would have 3 or maybe 4 options for future development in the works. I think the Scorpio is going to be great but I think they played their hand early and Sony was fishing for info. It's done now. Now we wait. But I won't be surprised if Sony come out and at least match or slightly exceed the Scorpio specs

I agree Sony wouldn't be locked in yet. There'd be 3 or 4 different routes they can take with neo. This would be afforded to them by AMD as they are the market leader for consoles. When Sony saw the specs of the Scorpio I guarantee they'd be on the phone to AMD telling them to go with a certain optiom. MS played their hand too early.
