I was tempted to buy this but I prefer to buy Vita not PSP. Glad I didn't buy.
I really hope they don't do the console/hybrid thing. It's okay as an alternative to their main home consoles, but that's all.
As for what they should do for a next gen system:
1. At least match what PS3's online infrastructure accomplished, bare minimum; Wii U has the worst online experience.
2. 3rd. Party. Support.
3. Equal capabilities as the competition, no more hanging back with crap grapchics.

Telltale is such a wondercul company. Their only flaw is picking up garbage IP to work with just because they're popular. I wouldn't be surprised if they announce a damn Angry Birds game next. Pick MGS, RE, or something. I'd think Mario/Sonic would fit the best, but really, no more trash IP, please.
