imagine if you had both ps4 n xbox... would you get the game on the platform with less content?
if you had neither but wants to get one... which platform would you pick?
of course pachter is correct if all your friends are on one platform it would influence your decision. but wouldn't a lot be wondering 'why are they gaming on a platform with less content any...

they don't have the development studios or the modern ips to be able to be relevant from the start. nor do they have the financial power to get into the conole game.
but if they were going after a different market, or working on some other ventures... in that case sure why not?

actually in markets like Japan it's probably over 100:1, and most likely gonna get worst.
in south east asia... nowadays actually i don't see xbo in the shops at all (i don't think xbo launched here at all, they got the 360s though). the margin could also be over 100:1. generally interest for the xbo is not great over here
i wouldn't say domination... but beating Xbox in it's strongest market is pretty sweet.
just hope sony doesn't get complacent, and Xbox try harder (as in make some quality games)

sales are not that much down from 360 days. but pc Xbox should more than make up for it.
i expect higher subscription rate for GWG.
and i believe advertising for Xbox one is likely lower compared to 360 days.

by looking at sales you can estimate the level of support the console will receive from developers.
it will help consumers to decide which console to invest in...

the year or so before the Xbox one was launched... you could clearly see what was happening.
having own both 360 n ps3. after gears 3, the 360 had nothing from ms.... while ps3 continued to release a bunch of awesome exclusives. above all else ps3 released the last of us, one of the most highly rated games ever... this shows on exclusive wise, sony is much more commited than ms.
