While I don’t buy physical due to me being cheap and the lack of options where i am. But I believe physicals will stay, because there is a demand for it, and that’s money on the table
I haven’t bought any physical games since the PS4 generation, but i would if i could get good deals for em. In South East Asia it’s quite hard to get games at discounts, i end up just buying during PSN sales.
Yeah, and i think the US gov also gave tariff exemptions for electronics. Although there’s still inflation to deal with, and logistics cost probably up significantly.

Even in South east Asia where prices went up the last few years, it’s no where near what the Americans and Europeans have been experiencing.
In fact just a couple of days ago i got 120 eggs (size c, it’s not big) that was on offer for USD$3.25. Ask yourself, how much would that be in the US right now.
In essence yes at least partially, since the inflation faced by the US the last few years was due to trump’s 1st term and biden. And yes tariffs were also part of the reason because the tariffs nonsense started in Trump’s 1st term, Biden added to it, then this crazy bs we are seeing today.
