1. Agreed
2 Mobile is so far mostly producing the best polished imitations of console games it can , wich isnt always saying much .
3 F2p is often the retirement house where washed up mmos go to try squeezing more money , or where former stars will go lay to rest .
Anyway the article is ridiculous . "There are too many tv channels and shows , let's make them 5-15 min short to savor them " would be the kind of fallacious lo...
You can actually test drive a car at a retailer's shop , and then decide upon it .
WHere was a demo of skyrim again ? I understand that it wasnt possible , but even for those games , there are now benchmarks , where is it ?
We've gone even backward when it comes to demos .
Even books , mangas and comics based industries are ok with previews , wich could be far more damageing to them than to games .
I'll on...
Obviously your solution only works for countries with a proper video game rental system . You'll find that those countries are the minority
You're surprised ?
It's not even truly a physical medium . The disc and boxes are mostly a wrapping and distribution method around what is in a fact a virtual product and intellectual property .
Bare people that love collections , the general public wont care beyond the ease to access the product (wich isnt indeed yet there) , and the cost . Same public wich easily ditched the cartridge for the cd , the cd for the dvd , then the bluray .. portabl...
Ahhh IGN never failing at failing . You see an (excellent) action open world game and decide to call it a rpg ?
The "it's a gimmick" is the most awesomely useless argument anyway .
Pretty much everything embellishing games and picture are anyway .
For many years and as early as 4.1 set , we've been able to hear footsteps from behind in games , and i dont see people raising a fush over current expensive audio home cinema sets , and the constant influx of new audio formats for it .
Nor should they ... those gimmick embellish sounds , just l...
in an ideal world maybe , but i firmly believe the game's setting and mood would just be different . If they did that , they wouldnt have "wasted" that much effort "emoting" characters , their intents and feelings , and would just use their own words instead .
The game would be sensibly different , and voice off option , would just mostly be the same with a wall a text , minus the original magic
Maybe if you unglued your eyes , unplugged your ears , and turned on your brains , you'd notice that plenty dont like , Lair , Genji Haze or even Heavenly sword (There are also plenty crap like Last Rebellion and Cross edge no one ever remembers or care about ) . It shows in sales and popularity .
Heck it's even usually some 360 fanboys bringing those up in a show and tell ..
Also some to this day deny till they are blue in the face , that stuff on 360 li...
Mentioning forza is hardly irrelevant .
Just like some love to point out whenever a big hyped ps3 title "only does a million" , the reverse should be possible too .
Some guys make a deal of sales whenever it suits them , and when it no longer does "suddenly sales dont matter look at the metacritic , people are just morons for not buyng the game" .
" only the Sony idiots who go out of their way to cause a ruckus ...
they couldnt shut up about forza for a whole year , and now that it's out , no one suddenly mention it .
Only with some devs that always spells troubles for the ps3 . Otherwise just learn to be informed instead of blindly buying stuff
Gems works both way . You guys always give some weird example in a bizarro universe where :
- its some kind of training mode with the opponent as a cpu dummy
- the opponent doesnt choose gems as well .
Imagine a rush down an speed based char like Ibuki adding also a speed gem . Do you still believe zangief got a speed edge then ?
Again gems are the balances of the game , it will be obvious pretty soon that some defa...
actually the gem system is THE BALANCE system of the game .
Without it you are looking at MVC-2-3 revisited with tekken characters
I'll be an idiot too then . Stop pretending everyone are even getting bitter and remorseful when discovering a newer version a year later of most fighting game .
It's not even a "capcom thing " like you say . Saves maybe namco , everyone is pretty much re-releasing a new version of their fighting games every year in the genre . Starting with Blazlue .
Like mentioned above , some enjoy the reactualisation involved in rebalances along with...
Well the answers you get i harsh , i agree . Your assessment feel rather like a superficial and arbitrary glance at the game .
@R3ALiTy
I dont know what's your beef and obsession with me .
I'm far from having answers to everything , and am not the one beong flippantly aggressive here .
I just answer what i think , shockingly , or can only vouch for my own experience .
Meanwhile i see people just ignoring everything else and repeating "but what if you dont hve the net ?" as if no one argued about such cases ?
i didnt mention bringing a console to mcdonald come on . You can as an ex access your psn store on web bowrser you know and use your code there ?
And who the F are you to judge how i got the bubbles ? It's not like i'm insulting anyone here and just debate like everyone else .
Well you're the ones pretending the comments mention something about being online all the time ... but kudos .
Hell you even make me smile . I dont have net access at home ... havent for the past month as i'm in the process of moving to a new house .
i squat my bro's or friends internet when possible , or go at workspace and free wifi access places with a tablet .
Cherry on top of the cake :
-bandwith was...
1 . Going in an online store to validate a code doesnt use squat from your limited bandwith . Argument works only for downloading content , and even them it depend upon the size . PLus you could always wait for your monthly refill of bandwith
2 . If part of the stuff is sold precisely for new game owners , it doesnt matter if it is online or not . You have a choice presenting itself to you . Support the game fully or dont but bear the consequences , while still being allo...
Always found it annoying in western rpgs . It's not about wanting to harms kids , even if ultimately who cares it's a game .
It's about the weird sense of censorship , and being bugs whenever a game that claims to let you roam free place arbitrary hurdles as such .
Just have a decent counter-punishement measure if needed .
