It would actually make more sense that pretending an history of Mmos , action games and racing titles didnt happen or arent coming exclusively on ps4 . And then maybe you'd be right for the foreseable future

Maybe it's time to notice it isnt demon or dark souls . The witcher 1 &2 didnt exactly focus on boss fights and status either (except in the plot) , and was fine for it .
Selling in more countries , doesnt explain at all selling better in each individual country , pretty much .

What wasnt outselling the 360 any year any time ? The 360 was a bust , and so were most of those exclusive 360 jrpgs .
And you obviously didnt get my point . Between developing on the expensive and difficult ps3 , with next gen tech they didnt master and going handheld/mobile , it was an obvious choice for many japanese studios .
To be fair , japan was mostly more into mobile gaming , because so many of their studios missed the train and were so behind , in funding and tech , that they could sustain themselves with mostly ps2 level titles that could only fly with customers on handhelds and mobiles . They couldnt compete with western games , and the local public didnt care for those western games but would expect the same level of quality

As for the lack of jrpg , they've got at least two of the regular big sellers at launch with Yakuza and Musou ... just gieve it time before stating "facts" . It's too early to make such claims .

Except it is a jrpg , it's from a brand and offshoot of rpgs From sotfware has always been doing ... hell even before the elder scrolls became truly famous .
FF's and turn based 's traditionalism still doesnt erase such an history .
Everyoen can play the "i dont need that game anyway , never care for it" angle .
It's not about who got more . It's about selecting a Platform providing you the most in stuff you care about , or maybe even specific titles that you must have .
And many here seems to assume pc and console are even mutually exclusive , if you care about a wide range of genre and titles .

The first part of the comment was perfect , then it turned into BS . There are hard and challenging games from other niche on consoles and handhelds that easily outsold it , nothing to do with what's a real gamer today and who isnt .

Again those people should just state the only thing they deem worthwhile for online mp are shooters . It's the only way it could make sense to pretend they got so much more in the mp department . And even then it's by discounting every f2p shooter out there .
