thinking he's getting advanced graphics. Especially if it's true that only 30% of 360 and 40% of PS3 owners know what their purchase is able to do. The Joe Shmoe's, aka the casual gamer, want to play games.

Nothing that's said on here is going to convince someone one way or another on buying a PS3 or a 360. Let the fanboons rant, it makes them happy.

under 4ms that you won't notice a difference. I know plasma has really gotten better when comes to being used for gaming purposes, I am just not willing to take that leap.
I just picked up a 40inch Samsung LCD with a refresh rate under 4ms, it's their new series with the 15,000 dynamic contrast ratio. Now if they could only release an affordable 70 inch version so I can replace my 70 inch Hitachi Director's Series.
I just don't see that much of a difference to warrent an absolute need for HDMI. I can't really use HDMI until Denon actually updates their AVR 4806ci to the 4808ci model.
As a side note, there are pictures showing the zephyr motherboards currently being used in the newer premium models and not the Falcon yet.

are one of the more dominate genres currently. I would have expected the number to be a little higher, but it really depends on what one defines as a good game and what is a shooter.
I thought Dead Rising was a very good game, but really can't figure out how to define it's genre. Is it an action game, action RPG, a third person shooter, etc?
you don't need any of the stuff listed to play Mass Effect. The Play and Charge kit isn't needed for a wired controller. The only thing you may need, if it doesn't already come with it, is a memory card.
My Elite has the Benq drive and it's less noisy; but still louder than my PS3.
Whether the 360 has a 65nm chipset vs a 90nm chipset, both are going to make heat. All electronics create heat. It's a matter of what MS is doing to improve dispersal of said heat.
