includes more products than just the XBOX. The ZUNE certainly can't be making any money and their IPTV technology investments can't be making any money and MS did the right thing in improving the 360's warranty, which hurt that divisions bottom line. The XBOX division is in good shape.
Microsoft would be crazy not to have a price drop sooner rather than later. If they are really interested in Market dominence then dropping the price by 75-100 bucks across the board is the most aggressive way to go. They already have some of the most important games coming through-out the year. If MS wants to position themselves on top, then now is time to make that push. Drop the price. They need to be around 22-25 million unit out by the end of this year to have any chance of winning....
Didn't someone say that was around 770-780 in US dollars. Not too bad for a computer. Don't forget to pick-up your Bluetooth Head Set and HD cables. At least the online is free as of right now.
there will be a price cut for the forseable future, but who really knows what a Sony will do. If it sells poorly then they may be forced to cut the price, or if MS actually does the smart thing and cut it's own price, thus making a concerted push for market dominence. Sony doesn't seem to be in a good position to be cutting prices.
this a killer-app, besides I could care less about another shooter being anounced for the XBOX. They had better have it out before Halo hits this fall.

Ms needs a price drop. It's too much for most people at 399 for the premium. I know there department operated at a loss, but I thought the Zune was part of that department and the Zune can't be helping their bottom line at this time (or likely ever). MS needs a price drop in Europe with Sony's release and drop in price soon afterwards North America. If MS doesn't get to the 22-25 million mark by the end of Next christmas, then they will never dominate this generation. I am sure with halo'...
not only that this game is delayed until May. I guess if that's what it takes to make this game the best possible, but damn wasn't this game suppose to be out last November. Then they leave off my favorite track from the orginal, Road America. Though 47 tracks on 12 environments are an awful lot to completely memorize as compete online they have to all be committed to memory. Two Worlds delayed and now Forza, hopefully Crackdown will have been done well enough to hold both March and April. ...
as a DVD player my PS3 put my old Denon in the closet, but as video game machine the PS3 is unbelievably below sub-par. Still this game isn't that bad, it's just not worth 60 bucks. Maybe 20-25.

it will be out before June 21st. I am really looking forward to this one. If it's even close to as playable as Oblivion was and adding the chance for online questing with fellow friends, I think Two Worlds is going to be a winner. I am there day one.
still would like to some form of online co-operative with this game having scuh a huge scope. A KOTOR style game with multi-player group would be very fun. Maybe if Mass Effect has great success, which I think it has the potential to be, they will look at an MMO style version. To bad there hasn't been anymore news on Shadowrun.
wrong with MS offering two sku's when it first released the 360. Both my launch 360's where core versions. Appreciatively both came back to me with hard drives when both units ended up having the three red rings of death (both since have been problem free). A price point of 299 here in the States is competative and can get down under 200 much more quickly. The memory card needs to be bigger, but who knows how much MS will charge.
Sega said there wasn't any online verses for VF 5 on the 360. I know they've said no online for PS3, but what games does offer online gaming for the PS3.
who cares about VF 5 or 6 or 7, for that matter. Hey Sega, how about coming up with some original IP. Your line-up this year seems to be nothing more than sequels, though I will give Virtua Tennis a strong look see when it comes out. But, VF 5 go the way of the Great Auk.

and will continue to be worth every single penny I spend on it. Sometimes you meet some bad eggs, but mostly everyone is just looking for some fun, which one would think would be the point of playing games. 60 plus hours alone on Rainbow Six Vegas terorist hunt coop. Met tons of great gamers. One of the best experiences with this game so far on the 360.
for any third company party to take sides. I thought Saint's Row was announced for the PS3 by THQ, and I wouldn't be suprised to see Deadrising and Lost Planet on the PS3 at some point. Makes little business sense not to try and capitalize as much money out of an investment property. Just like the DMC series being other systems.
