Absolutely beautiful. you can keep the main steamOS with all its optimizations for games, and still have the flexibility of booting another OS directly from the SD Card, for specific applications linux might not be able to handle well, or even Xbox Gamepass.
I am absolutely dying to see real world performance from this machine, but it's looking more and more incredible each day.
too many people, too satisfied with too little.
They let it slide because after all, the game is "free". The game is fun, and it's a really good deal, but eventually the high fades, and unless you start paying silly sums of money, it quickly becomes a second job, with how much grinding you have to do.
if it can't even be generous with anniversary events, despite the record breaking amounts of money it's been making in only its first ...
Aaaaaahhhh. Remember the good old days of "Puddlegate"?
Kratos is from Greek Mythos and he's black (though the gods whitewashed him lol).
The only real problem is if Angrboda isn't a *good* character and if in original mythos her skin colour as a vital part of her story/stories. Skin colour is incidental.
I wish Raiden Shogun (and many other characters) was a little stronger at base constellation, because it's definitely not viable for a F2P to get her above C0 (getting her even once is incredibly lucky) but even so, I'm having an absolute blast with her.
honestly, just increase daily commisssion rewards so it's possible to make AT LEAST one pull a day. Mihoyo is too stingy as it currently stands.
I cannot stress enough, how perfect this game would be on the Steam Deck.
I'm waaaaayyyy too hyped about it
you could complain about it, and call it pointless/stupid... but the FFXIV team caring enough about all their players and every aspect of their gaming experience to do something even as "stupid" as this, is the biggest reason why FFXIV is currently the most popular MMO in the world.
I can see how it could trigger someone suffering from trypophobia, but ultimately it takes literally nothing from me, or the vast majority of people who actually play the game, so this...
So are the scalpers.
The fact that the Switch succeeded at all, is proof that that this won't happen.
The switch is very much mainstream, and people bought it for the exclusives, family friendliness as well as the convenience. Mario, Zelda, portability. They barely cared about power, or features. Still can't watch even netflix on the thing.
The Steam Deck (on paper) looks better than the Switch in every conceivable way. However. Will marketing to casuals/mainstream wo...
looks promising, but will it be enough? That loot adjustment better be major.
everything else looks good though so.... cautious optimism.
Damn, this is what the Advance Wars Re-boot camp should have looked like, imo.
this looks dope, and I'm definitely keeping on eye on it.
if you're starting with kingdom hearts 3, that might be 96% of the problem.
Start with the first game, because the gameplay holds up pretty well, even if a little dated. If you aren't enjoying yourself by the time you leave the starting world then yeah, the series might not be for you - and that's totally fine, too.
you could just also check out youtube video playthroughs, if you don't want to deal with all the games!
yeah, gotta love how lighthearted the old Final Fantasy games were, like in 7, set in a dystopian world in the late stages of capitalism literally bleeding the planet dry, while the progeny of an alien, mad scientist and a victim attempts activate a weapon of planetary destruction to fulfil some twisted, extra terrestrial being's life cycle.
Meanwhile most of our heroes are suffering through Identity crises and trauma brought about by personal loss, war, abuse and scientific expe...
I mean "technically" yes, because every time they want to develop something amazing on PS5/ Series X devs probably need to ask themselves the question "Will this also work the way we want it to on PS4/Xbox one"... but it's still the beginning of the gen so beyond loading speeds and some assets/textures, it really shouldn't be THAT a big deal.
I think it's the NEXT Battlefield game that has to be current gen only, or it'll definitely be fe...
I personally bet on summer 2023. 2021/2022 will probably belong to FFXIV Endwalker and Forspoken (possibly FFVIIR-2 at the latter half) for their big releases.
The silver lining is that now, almost nobody cares about this game, so they're not gonna complain that Spider-Man is a Playstation exclusive.
The DLC is dope, the real problem is that we had to wait about 3 months to get less than three hours of new content.
if this kind of content was coming once every month, or even every six weeks, RELIABLY, this game would be in a much better place.
Still holding out hope for the War for Wakanda expansion - that's going to be the real make-or-break.
They're different. There's no objective answer- purely a matter of preference.
World is more grounded, closer in environments and action, with bombastic effects and cinematics/visuals (which I personally prefer) with a decent story by almost any standard.
Rise is more responsive and combat is more rapid, with more flexibility and freedom (from what I've observed), with a more stylized visual aesthetic, but with less story.
...
It should be more than "Very possible" - it should have been a foregone conclusion, and should have been introduced within the first 3 months of launch.
Though I will say, it's very likely that the blame for this particular issue lies with Disney, given how controlling they are of all the properties they own.
yup. speaking from personal experience, and even from watching online tournament play during the height of the pandemic.
I stopped bothering.
