one way I could think of to make the game better... was if it was roughly 20 hours longer, because the game is so damn good!
The story just flew by for me because I was so enchanted with everything in Valisthea, I don't even feel the 70 hours it took me to finish the game... which is why I'm now in Final Fantasy mode with NG+
This makes me so happy to read. Been a fighting game fan for a couple decades, and this is easily the most fun and excited I've been for this genre of game.
and there's an absolutely ridiculous level of support and tools to help even the worst player get pretty good, so long as they have the mindset - and I'm glad the community itself is fostering that. That's what makes communities grow stronger.
I'm surprised they're still trying to sell this game for actual money.
I've stopped expecting other cultures to do my (respectful) representation for me, but whenever they take the time to do so, they always get extra points from me.
I'm still going to play the game cause I trust this dev team, but I always find it... interesting that in a series with gigantic ridable chickens, mythical summoned creatures named after Islamic and Hindu spiritual beings (Ifrit, Shiva, Bahamut etc) and magic crystals, that features storylines about rebell...
they need to go back to what made Battlefield 3 and 4 amazing at the end of their lifespans.
otherwise, this is just a waste of time and money for everyone involved.
I miss Starhawk. that game was incredible - a great blend of Sci-Fi and Western, and the illustrated cutscenes were so good.
kratos is definitely stronger.
not only are the norse gods stronger than the greek gods in general, kratos flipping Tyr's temple straight up outclasses anything he's done in the original trilogy, in terms of displays of physical strength.
Breath of the Wild did not invent the concept of gliding, or gliders in videogames.
The Game you're thinking of is called Rise of the Ronin.
if you get a version that's hackable, absolutely.
I've played this game and it has potential to be one of my personal GOAT games.
beautiful presentation, smooth, challenging gameplay so far. if they nail the story/dialogue... easy favourite.
might as well compare Tekken and Street Fighter. Guilty Gear and Marvel Vs Capcom. Samurai Shodown and Soul Calibur.
it's apples to oranges and at best their similarities are superficial.
Another lesson why videogames should never be announced more than a year and 6 months from release.
at this point even hearing updates about Granblue relink actually annoys me.
I've always loved superhero RPGs, so I'm definitely getting this game because I see the potential.
whether or not it will be a day one purchase, or waiting till there's a cheaper GOTY edition is up to the devs/reviews.
I absolutely loving that name, and I hope it's used.
MH team DID say that they were no longer officially giving numbers to their main MH installations and sticking with the title, so this makes a little sense at least.
I am so hype for this game - gonna be incredible.
after people excused what Nintendo did with THEIR full-priced remakes... this was inevitable.
I'm just going to go ahead and assume a 2025 release, so anything that happens sooner is a nice surprise.
Gotta say... the suits look really good. Which is a relief.
Technically, it's still possible. we have Final Fantasy XIV and No Man's Sky as proof. those games launched in conditions arguably worse than Avengers did....
The question is if they care enough, to put in the work and the money to make the game a success.
After the most recent fiasco with paying for exp, after they said they would never do such a thing... I personally no longer believe they care- now they're just trying to make whatever mone...
I STONGLY agree. The implementation of this system is actually a stroke of genius, and increasingly valuable as videogame storylines get more complex.
For instance, I'm a big fan of the Kingdom Hearts series and I know all about it already, but something like this applied to the series would be such a MASSIVE quality of life improvement for longtime fans and it would make the games much less intimidating for newcomers - at the very least it would quiet most of the peopl...
