Whatever you need to tell yourself in order to justify your stupidity for buying one.
Sorry I didn't read the article but is it instructions on returning the console and buying a PS4?
"The Dude abides.."
So $500.00 for a machine that will violate my privacy, mine and sell data about me regardless of my wishes, limit what I can do with games that I PURCHASED and treats me with complete disdain.
Yeah, I'll pass.
And Sony...You had better believe I'll drop you just as quickly if you even attempt anything similar.
I'm a GAMER, not an unpaid CONSOLE MASCOT. My loyalty as a con$umer will go to the company who begins with showing me a ...
Definitely a lot of new great looking and interesting games, but nothing I would sell out my rights and privacy for as a consumer. I hope you feel the same.
Ted Price, Insomniac...Turncoats. One less dev I need to support, especially if they back the DRM agenda.
Anyone in the audience with Cajones will "Boo" when Microsoft adresses our "Concerns".
I'm glad these guys aren't playing softball with the whole Microsoft violating consumers RIGHTS, TRUST and PRIVACY. M$ needs to address this but no matter what they do to placate the consumers, if they don't completely go in reverse with these bogus policies then no one should buy this thing no matter how good the games are that they will reveal.
Don't sell out your dignity just for some videogames XBOX guys, believe it or not Sony people (me) and Nintendo peo...
"Im gonna come at you like a Spider Monkey"!!!
"You're one weird person."
Thanks.
"It's like you're trying too hard to not be seen as a fanboy, so you say stupid stuff."
Bingo.
"I mean, why the hell would you point to Amazon prices as a comparison? Do you think that's what Sony would do?"
No of course not, Sony would want to keep business over PSN for obvious financial reasons. A person with common sense thou...
@xHeavYx
Why would I "pay to play an FPS online"?
Obviously you didn't even read everything I wrote, because if you had then you might have realized that I'm a PS3 guy and actually have PS+
So....read and comprehend much? I'm guessing not.
What's Limbo like on the Vita?
Engrossing and fun.
@ArronC07
and bubbles to you as well sir!
Let's ban together and show these companies that WE GAME ON OUR TERMS, not theirs!
Looks like the apple (Jason West and Vince Zampella/ex infinity ward employees) doesn't fall to from from the tree (EA) after all.
Well that's one less dev I will be supporting.
Good comment and I agree with you, that conclusion just came to me as well.
But only time will tell and we'll know for sure if Sony implements the same used game policy through it's first party developers.
After all Sony did follow suit with online passes a little while after EA started in with and let's face it any adult knows that a company's first loyalty is to itself and money not it's consumers or fans.
I would lik...
Nothing but a bunch of propaganda supporting the money grubbing agenda of big game companies.
Wake up and get a clue already...You say gamers are afraid of "CHANGE" as though ALL CHANGE is good change, when it most certainly IS NOT.
Real gamers will not buy video game consoles and games from companies that push this pseudo Always connected/DRM agenda it is 150% WRONG and in complete violation of gamers/consumers RIGHTS, TRUST, and PRIVACY.
...
Don't you mean "This is great news if you're a gamestop shareholder"??!!
Your thinking here just turns my stomach, wake up already. It's obvious that Gamestop and the Devs and publishers pushing for DRM are all in bed together on this deal, and guess what smarty pants? That's right, it will not be to your benefit as a consumer or even a citizen of wherever it is that you live.
These kinds of policies will put a lot of local used ga...
No need for an online connection is good, but lets not give Sony too much credit just yet as the whole "used games' thing is up to devs and publishers on the xbone as well.
If Sony backs the devs and publishers and ends up implementing the same used game policy as M$ with their first party studios, then we'll know where Sony's loyalty really lies.
Wow! Thanks for the note about Prism, I actually hadn't heard of it (though I knew such a programs existed).
For ANYONE who cares about their privacy at all, this is definitely something you should check out!!
