It's really tiring to see the word "genius" so thoughtlessly used like this. While I'm not denying that Mark Cerny is intelligent and more so than the general population, the mark of a genius certainly isn't the ability to see that Sony needed to build a consumer friendly console that catered to developers in every possible way but rather an obvious conclusion when realizing the solutions for the problems that the PS3 presented.
