yeah. I still dont like the kinect only games but. I like everything else it does. A few of my friends have it but I skipped it.

I would be suprised if we see overheating issues in either. for one, AMD are good at power managment with their chips. and secondly , even though they are BOTH based on a laptop CPU, they have much more room in X1/PS4 to cool those chips.
I think its a bit of both to be fair. MS needed it. They needed to know what they were doing wrong. And the X1 is now a better console than it was back in april. The same thing happened at the launch of PS3. Sony listened. they reacted..and we ended up with Playstation that is worthy of the name.
what I dont agree with is this line of thinking though..

well..according to some of these lot.... it dangles right in front of you from the ceiling, obscuring your view of the TV and kinects sight of you..
for others, its the sight of the brick..hidden away behind their TVs. It wont matter that they cant see it..they just KNOW its there... or sitting in the corner..powering the kinect that is "staring" at them, telling MS, every time they look at the power brick with disdain..Telling MS how much they hate the power brick ...
He just pulled that number out of his ass. MS have not confirmed a price on the adaptor but I would not expect it to cost any more than $15 for what it is. And yes I just pulled that number out of my ass too. but based on what it is ( A headset adaptor) dont expect it to cost more than $15. $20 tops.

This is good to know. I was going to get a turtle beach at launch but I can put that off now, and spend that £80 two more launch games instead now. Ill probably just buy KI and dump the rest into my account to spend on gaems like below. Hopefully they show us the wireless headset soon. That what im more interested in.

I would like to see codemasters go back to their more hardcore roots. I want a proper rally game like colin Mcrea 3 or 4. I want grid to be the proper successor to the old TOCA games.
The car handling in GRID is just plain awkward.
They just need to show some PS4 games. And more vita games if they are still intent on selling it. but ill be happy with their gamescon showing if they just show games to be honest.
