Multiplayer is part of bungies whole philosophy. Always has been. Im glad they made this game. Just a shame they didnt build a larger "'out of the box', experience. I expected more content. a ten hour experience is better suited to more linear games.
This is the problem. They got it so perfect the first time round. I dont blame them for focusing on the co op and exploration (both, factors in halo, but the competive MP was perfection). The less comparisons, with halo, the better for destiny, I say.
its competitive MP does not have the legs to beat halo on that front. A fact that is so painfully gonna get, hammered home when Halo:MCC, comes out And from what is being said , the story is no halo either. So im not sure how it will be "halo beater". Maybe in sales...but CoD sells more than halo, and that game has not got an edge on halos gameplay either.. But I understand bungie is on their marketing spiel, right now.
Honestly, for the type of game this is, I expected at least 30 hours, but im sure the DLC is where bungie intends to do most of their work on this game.. ah well, its a good way to kill time until, Halo: MMC, arrives. And I still have forza horizon 2, to look forward to this month.
I enjoyed world of tanks. Hopefully we see this and WoT on XB1 soon.

Mass effect and skyrim are two of my fave character customisation suites in games. In both games I was able to make a like for like version of myself (skin complexion, eyes shape, beard/hair style). I like when devs add this feature personally.

I own both and will be buying for X1. Friends outweigh timed exclusive DLC every time. If this is a game with a ten year plan, then im playing with the people I been gaming with, these last 8 years.

Nope. Its a great game, but having finished it I have no desire to play it again. Unlike other games that I would give that title too. I wont name them but...yeah..replay value. Its a thing.

I agree with some of your points foxtrot. I think the competitive MP feels a bit...tacked on? I would have just left that out, and focused on more of the co op stuff. I dont think this game would be a bad single player experience. But its definitely an experience to be shared with friends, I think.
