yeah, I just noticed that. But still the real shocker here is that mobile dev stat. not a good sign for consoles period. Consoles are becoming more niche, within gaming and at a faster rate than before.
This is a real problem. Im pretty sure it will have a negative effect on companies choices to make new big budget IP. may seem even riskier going forward than in the past.
As somebody that plays halo, watching the destiny gameplay trailer, the gunplay reminded me of halo , minus the jump hight. I dont think thats a bad thing. This game is far more open than halo. Different weapons , enemies settings, open world, galaxy etc. but with that halo formula implemented in the combat.
I cant wait to play this with my friends.

DH hired talents from the street fighter team as well as some of the guys behind skull girls plus some highly respected members of the fighting game tourney scene.

If I was running MS thats what I would do. Delay it till Q2 2014 and drop a better Gpu in it.bad tech choices are what put them in this scenario. and once they launch it will be too late . they could delay and upgrade while milking the X360 for one more holiday on the games front while keeping the x1 in the public eye.

I agree, Its been a pretty dramatic last 4 months for them. Usually around the launch of new consoles we see tonnes of previews of new games,lots of hardware talk, dev talk etc.
Yet here in 2013 the gaming media is dominated by MS constantly shooting itself in the foot and doing a VERY bad job of communicating what X1 is to the public. Its pretty shocking to watch a company at their level make these kinds of launch mistakes, considering how successfully the launched X360. these ...

That was acknowledged in dark hollows post. We ALL seen those E3s. WE all agree they were terrible showings. But in 2013 with X1 they have shown games.
X1 is a gaming platform. It just so happens to be a lot more than that and people seem to negatively spin that into.."X1 is not about games".

I dont care for the adds. Not like they get in the way of anything I do on live. They dont even make a sound unless you click on them and they are just a few little boxes here and there that are barely even notice them.
I will say as somebody that has experience with both, that live FUNCTIONS better. Its more stable , more robust. And I only expect MS to improve on that with everything they are doing with X1. There are things that PSN cannot do ( cross game chat springs to mind)...
I agree viking. its a small hike anyways. I just think it would be more advantageous to them to keep the prices as they were. it actually makes the games seem cheaper on XBL. which in turn would get people to buy more games.
and of course as consumers..cheaper is cheaper. and everybody loves buying games cheaply. lol

I agree that MS seems to have completely lost focus, with Xbox. But at the same time ALL of this press keeps it in the news more than ANYTHING else gaming related at the moment. All eyes are on MS from now till launch. If they were smart they would use ALL public outings from now till then to show humility, and to be more dynamically responsive to its consumers.
