you havent played forza.
Weight, suspension, tyres and other aspect of car dynamics are all simulated in forza...so how is it an arcade racer...do you guys tell yourselves this shit just to feel better about GT? GT is a good game but if you think it is any more of a sim than forza you need to ACTUALLY play the game with the "safetys" off.
I can sign in just fine...but I cant play BF3! so im gonna go play dishonoured while they fix this. had that game sitting here for agesand never touched it. but i really wanna go on BF3 right now.
I kinda like that about XBL. The lobbys are bloody entertaining. especially when you beat them. meltdown central. I have heard OLD people go nuts on XBL! lol
people get heated in the middle of a competitive match. especially if they stick around expecting to "pay you back" in the following match, and that does not happen :).

In the case of a single console owner I would say this is true. There is no way that you wont buy both consoles if you can afford. And when you own both and see there benefits, you find less and less reason to pick a side.

I disagree. that is simply a symptom of their behaviour when on the defence.
A fanboy is somebody who doesnt really question the company they support yet dismisses and downs any competing product at any given opportunity..even when it is not called for. I see plenty of that around here....
EDIT: the first sign of a fanboy is trolling. The smarter they are , the more subtle. especially on N4G..thats why certain people have so many bubbles yet seem so one side...

I think this is a little off. I reckon the reason people argue an bicker over console brands is partly the same reason people pick a sports team or a certain brand of clothes. people just love to pick a side and pick a fight.

Nah, we got pleny of Sci fi FPS on Xbox ;). I would rather it be a 3D platform shooter like the original but with puzzle elements, 3 player co op (somebody HAS to be the dog!) varied play styles brought on by various enviroments..you, know vehicular ground and space settings, that sort of thing, to break up the 'on foot' sections. It could even have cool multiplayer modes involving racing. shooting and flying.

I think the trick for them is to make it become the center of the living room. Thats a different fight from a purely games one. I beleive MS can juggle both.
There are two sides to Xbox: The online cenrtic hardcore games console that gives us things like halo, forza etc. And the kinect cenrtic,casual drawing, living room controlling device that could be the device that brings windows into the living room ahead of apple and google`s attempts to bring their OS into the living ...

Kinects features sound really cool though. Lots of little creature comforts I could get used to. Especially the voice recognition and controller ID stuff.
