You would have to have more then one digital distribution source to buy your games from if this transpired... Or other Digital distribution outlets other then the MS or Sony stores... This would ensure competition because if you have just one respective outlet for each console company... They have ZERO insentive to pass on savings DD gives you to consumers.

This is not really surprising or news to be honest. This has been an on going trend for Japanese gamers for the past 5-10 years if you followed market demographic trends. Japanses gamers are moving more towards mobile and hand held gaming. This trend will continue. Japan is no longer the gaming mecca it once was. North America is now.
I think many console gamers this coming generation will be very dissapointed when most games won't be running 1080p@60fps... At least the graphically demanding games

The 3DS is vastly inferior to the Vita hardware wise, however hardware does not make a successful system as the 3DS has the vastly superior game lineup.

What this means is almost next to no support for the PS Eye by Sony and especially 3rd party developers... The same way as it was with the PS3. Nothing to see here....

They are not a generation ahead. The are a generation behind. It's actually the first time in a console generation were consoles will launch and have less power then your gaming PC.

High End PC's are running GPU's that are 2-3 times more powerful then the entire PS4...that's the GPU alone without factoring in the CPU and memory.
Don't kid yourself. The PS4 is a great piece of powerful technology...for a console.
That's exactly what I am driving at. This site is WELL KNOWN to be a haven for fanboys of all stripes and actually has become the butt of jokes on the web because of it.
