wow, the game runs around 20 fps most of the time and 50% screen tearing. I think the game need a few more months of polish..... Wonder what the PS3 version is like....
I think its the first PS3 game has has ambient occlusion in it. Unless you count Uncharted 2 beta.... think they probably cant get it to run in a good enough performance out.
Im one of those angry dood thats nagry about this.
well, great code isnt easy to come by. they should seriously look into integrating the phyre engine into their source engine.
sony should let dev ultilized the 64 MB of ram that PSP 2000 and up has.....
their JP studio should adopt the engine. Imagine new siren games, syphon filter, all use the engine.
it is the lack of eDram that prevent the full software emulation. EE software emulation has already been done on the older 80 gig ps3 with backward compatibility. Its nothing new. Been said many time before, if anything 360 is more suitable for a PS2 software emulation than the PS3, because it sues edram just like the PS2.
this one is for PSP I believe, someone posted an interview with the producers from a Chinese mag.
hopefully this will be the end of 5 gig install....... at least make them optional.
its a on rail game, means every detail in the game is controllable which isnt as hard as making it looks really.
thought this is isnt out until 2010. By then KZ2 visual already a year old probably.
I thought it was announced a while back, now I hope they will bring Devil Summoner or, and especially Devil Summoner 2 Soul Hacker in Eng.
oh no, rage engine? hope it wont be 640p on PS3.
ya, probably reuse old assets from their old ass games, like RE Umbrella Chronicles. They resue all the old texture and environment from RE outbreak. Same engine too btw.
360 version has anti aliasing and probably render at a higher res.
very cool, wish it come out in summer.
this artical is wrong, Edge tools is being used by 3rd party developers also.
as long as PS3 version doesnt get 5 gig install like f^%*%*& crapcom games.
only issue I see is open world game, they can split the missions but still very dumb and defeat the purpose of seemless open world gameplay. Or games that use alot of high quality FMV.
realistically speaking probably, most country internet providers still have a download cap, I don't see them removing it for another 5 to 10 years. Even if they can get 1080p movie download it still not match for a disc media in terms of bitrate and audio quality. Those dd movies are smaller for no reason.
