Yes they are, the same way Sony has been trying to push MS out of the business also. Paying to keep games off Game pass, paying to have popular games timed or fully exclusive to its system. All these are techniques to push someone out. It’s simple, if I owned a store and you owned a store and I brought the timed or exclusive rights to food brands or paid delivery companies not to deliver certain popular brands What do you think is going to happen to your business? Eventually you’re going to c...

@hypertension140 what, come on man. Sony money hatting popular games to keep them off Xbox. Paying developers to keep games off game pass. I can continue. All of these art tactics to push MS out of the industry. This bias has to stop. When Sony money hats or buys things it makes Sony better. When MS does it its killing the industry my lord

Either the lot of you are trolling, or the lot don’t understand business. This is normal, every business has an acquisition list, and a plan to put its competitors out of business. It’s business 101. Sony (your neighborhood superhero) has an acquisitions wish list too, and uses tactics to push its competitors out of the market, each business has a different way of doing it, and it’s normal they are competitors. Jim Ryan isn’t trying to block this acquisition because he wants to save the gamer...

If people did their history they would understand that the original Xbox is the descendent of the Dreamcast, so that’s not a surprise. Also Bungie is a no brainer. I honestly thought that Xbox was going to get Sega around the 360 days.

Which is why games like Zelda tears of the kingdom, elden ring, assassin creed origin to Valhalla are still sitting in my collection untouched.

I’d like to know how deep and different the stories will be. For games like Mass effect, there may have been a lot of romances that can be had but a lot of those were due to how conversations went. If it’s more complex than that then I understand why it’s only four

You mean how they all operate. This is how business works. We literally See it every day. Banks, entertainment studios, and tech companies.

If that was the case this would have been over months ago because the FTC’s case is real weak. You got to hear some of the questions and things they are saying. They are saying the PC should be excluded from gaming… In what world?

“This follows the reveal during the hearing (via FOSSpatents Bog founder Florian Mueller and Mlex's Michael Acton) of an email signed by Jim Ryan in which he reassured stakeholders that he believed that the acquisition of Activision Blizzard was "not an exclusivity play at all," that Call of Duty would be on PlayStation for many years to come that Sony would be fine.

This starkly contrasts with Ryan's complaint to the British CMA involving the fear of rece...

So are we gonna accept the truth, move the goal post, change the narrative, or straight up act like this site isn’t credible?

Are they? Because aren’t there ten year contracts signed that are not only legal binding, and also will bring Activision games to different platforms go against what you just said?

That’s incorrect they do need it. Remember MS had to get approval from governing bodies from around the world. Then it has to be proven without a shadow of a doubt that it doesn’t harm competition. I know this is going to be hard for A lot of people to swallow and or believe, but Sony is closer to a monopoly than Xbox. And if XBox had to give remedies imagine what Sony would have to do?

@neutralgamer1992 you know for a fact that the FTC has a strong case?

1091d ago 7 agree38 disagreeView comment

That’s cool, I wasn’t expecting 1000 or even 500 of them to have life. For those who thought other wise just want something to use to create a negative narrative.
