And now they're risking their profitable division by doing this. What they should do is focus on innovation in the mobile market because the next company with the next big idea in that market will reap the rewards.

Actually smart ass I have a Business degree in Finance so I know a little bit about economics and products and who's the market for said products. All I was saying is its hard to see their direct market for this device plus the vita name doesn't have enough market penetration to put out new devicse under the same umbrella and expect it to do any better. Sony needs to be a bit more conservative with their ideas right now

Why are gamers defending ANY company for that matter. I said it before and I'll say it again. These companies could give a damn about any of you, they have no loyalty to you unless you're an investor. My loyalty is to none of these companies. They don't care about you so why should you care about them. That's all three companies. You're just a number to them nothing more!
Sorry but HTC and Sony are definitely not the top players in the mobile space... Especially Sony. I don't see many people with Sony phones.

They really need to get PS Mobile on more MOBILE devices. Currently, its limited to a few devices. Put it on Androids top selling phones!

@M-M I'm not a loyalist to any of these companies and actually this gen I went with the PS3 as my main system of choice but I'm switching to the One come next gen, simply because I agree that it has more value and right now it has the more intriguing launch line-up.
No one is getting over 100 million sold next gen that's for sure!
Don't forget to factor in the PS camera! Kinect comes in every box. Tell me... What price do you come up with then???

PS3 was by far my favorite system but now I just wish Sony failure. They never learned from their arrogance seven years ago. Karma's gonna get cha again.
