So you're saying the difference from the E3 trailer to now (mainly lighting and shadows) is where it was when they first showed footage of it?!? You don't think with more time they wouldn't of been able to achieve more???
What's stupid is your answer! Read it again...the games being release at the same time is me "framing" the circumstances! Good shot, try again.
You're still not explaining how that makes my first statement false. What I'm saying is that regardless of the game more development time equates to more being done. Its as simple as that! Couldn't infamous be considered to be released half passed since it's lacking the original fidelity that was intended???
What difference does that make??? They still could make it better given more time. How is my first statement not true?
If Titanfall was rushed then Infamous is being rushed since they were announced not too far from each other early last year. Given more time they could of accomplished realistic lighting like in the E3 trailer and in turn done a better job with shadows.
See what I did there...you can make an excuse that just about any game is rushed.
Amazon U.S has PS4's in stock for the past three days. Today i got curious and called up two different Gamestops in my area (we have about 7 or 8 of them) and they both have PS4s in stock. I don't think the issue is production at all. I think the people that REALLY wanted one already has it and now its time to let the "casuals" decide.
Let the disagrees rain because this guy said absolutely nothing that could be considered concrete. It was a lot of "this person told me this and that person told me that and I heard this and that happened. What a joke.
@gamer1982 if my memory serves me correct the Forza bundle didn't come out till this month also.
Edit: the Forza 5 bundle came out on March 10th
I never said big but it did sell at a loss at $600 remember, it had the cell technology and bluray in it, both were very expensive endeavors.
The PS3 still was being sold at a loss even tho it was at $600 that's why, and the 360 sold at a loss also at the beginning of the 7th gen
What?!? This is February NPD not March, which means there was no titanfall bundle yet. Also it's well known that ms makes more money off of the Xone than sony does with the ps4.
I have eight game for my Xone as opposed to two for my ps4 and its for the exact reason you stated
My collection:
Xbox one: forza, Ryse, cod, ac4, NBA 2k, NBA live, madden and ki.
Ps4: kz and NBA 2k
Also, can a person speak on this site without being called names because of their views? Or am I on the wrong site for that? Its easy to call someone naive when you don't agree with their views but at least try and form a good, educated response.
@joecanada i have a Masters in Business Administration and I have a job as a Financial Analyst and I can tell you that you're completely off on your comment. Shareholders and CEO take some money but they want to make more and more money! Thus, funding current and future projects is what normally happens. Its not about taking the money and run. Its about taking the money and investing the money to make...more money. Thats how the rich stay rich.
I think you're missing what I'm saying, games are simply getting more expensive to make and they (not just ea but everyone) could in fact ask for more. Right now games are 59.99 in the u.s which is fine those other add-ons are purely optional to the main game. I myself have nnever even bought an add-on for any game because for what they offer its just not worth it. Maybe they can offer some incentive to their "loyal" fan base and buying the add-ons takes out the ads. There...
I never said just to break even sure they're making a profit but from a business standpoint why not make more to fund other projects they may have or do we want to just keep playing sequel after sequel of various games?
A lot of compaNies do this not just EA.
This is how companies (even EA) pay for big budget games. Games are getting more and more expensive to make as time progresses, so it's either Ads or games being 69.99-99.99.
Finally someone who actually understands what's really going on! They're huge companies....they're both evil!
Lets be real here, its a term that's meant as an insult. I'm in many communities besides n4g and true Xbox fans dont call it that. Its a term that PS fans use. Plain and simple. I don't mind it cause its a easy way to spot a fanboy. as soon as I see someone use it, its kind of a signal to ignore them
This is going to be something that only the hardcore gamer buys. The average consumer won't go for this I guarantee it. It's going to be just like the 3D fad. Now being on the disagrees lol
