but then the witcher 2 is not as immersive or as ground breaking as LA Noire, its another generic fantasy style RPG I have played 20 times before, its story isnt as good and the increased playtime is as a result of dungeon grinding and redundant play...
not sure many PC gamers browse on what they play
consolers are usually on their console and so cant surf the web as readily as PC gamers
well there is ALOT of nudity (mainly of dead bodies) and some paedophilia, but it isnt B movie porn style content you get in other games
I just completed it, really loved it, cant wait for DLC

I dont like the argument that a game has to be perfect to get full marks particularly with a scoring system out of 4,5 and 10
If a game does sooo much and the flaws are of little consequence to the ambition of the game then I think a perfect score is justified unless the scoring in 0.5/10 or 1/100
game like Shenmue and Deus Ex are both flawed games but both would get a perfect score ...

I think thats cause its harder to pigdeon hole TPS as much as FPS and so arent as many 'Top 10 lists'
for instance alot of TPS's these days could be seen as RPG's, or sandbox crime games, or horror game or interactive story games like LA Noire
this doesnt happen so much with FPS's, Deus Ex is an example of being more than just a TPS

Vanquish, Dead Space and Gears Of War should be higher IMO, GTA, RDR and ME2 shouldnt be counted as TPS's and Resident Evil 4 should be top 3 if you are gonna count it as a TPS
While I think its unjust to call Uncharted 2 and Resi 4 (esp. ME2) just a TPS
I would have them joint top as they are both astounding games
They gave Portal 2 9.3, Brink 5.8, Crysis 2 8.6, Dragon age 2 7.6 out of 10
so this score is very high for this publication
cracking game, completed it yesterday.....really hope for more DLC like TLAD or BOGT for GTA4

this gen? PC only has one generation, it doesnt work like that with PC gaming
and if your talking about the last 5 years (as with this console gen) I think Dragon Age on PC is still the better out and out RPG and Demon souls on PS3 is slightly better IMO and Mass Effect is clearly better game whether you think its an rpg or not

I dont play games on a sunny day cause I have to close my curtains to see the screen and then I feel so guilty that I should be out having fun.....even with a game like LA Noire
but on a rainy day or winters day? I dont mind one bit
