Even though I have been tempted (when WoW first came out) I have never or will never play an MMORPG because if how chore-like they are, even modern online shooters like COD with their progression systems are just designed to keep you hooked, MMO shooter's like Destiny and The Division also I just will not play, they just dangle carrotts in front of you constantly and I just see right through it..right off to play meaningful games like Uncharted 4 or SOMA
why the hell am I getting disagree's!?
After months of hardly playing any games, I get Uncharted 4, Doom, Fallout 4 : Far Harbour and this in the same month! Time to dust off my PS4
I think it will be a toss up between The Witcher 3, Uncharted 4 and Mass Effect Andromeda for GOTG
Okami I think is the best non-zelda, zelda type game
Shenmue 3 yes (as Shenmue 1 is my favourite game of time) but its a relatively low budget crowd funded game which tempers my hype somewhat
FFVII remake not really, I've gone off Japanese RPG's in the last 10 years or so and while I was there when it first came out all those years ago the episodic structure and anime style doesn't really do it for me
Kingdom Hearts!? never played it any of them, again classic JRPG's dont fell me with any hype r...
I'm looking forward to DOOM alot as I am Dishonored 2 and Mirrors Edge but not as much as the above 3, that might change if I see more of it but it just looks a little shallow for me to be 'giddy with hype'
as a increasingly cynical early 30 something year-old man, there are very few upcoming games that make me giddy with hype...Mass Effect Andromeda and Uncharted 4 are 2, but this is another one and that I actually find these hard to wait for
If it went open world it would lose its soul yes...nothing wrong with expanded environments
Hopefully they take a leaf out of TLOU's book also and allow you to play more sections at your pace and not mostly at the developer's
very well said
I am a huge fan of both ME1 and ME2, in many ways I prefer ME1 especially the 70's retro feel to the universe and the more linear, captivating story. Even though it was poorly done there was something amazing about roaming on an alien planet and seeing a moon and 2 suns just above your head
However I had to choose I would say ME2 was the better game, it was like the dirty dozen in space and my favourite game of the last generation.
Now Mass Effect Andromeda has been delayed I agree, it eould have been a good fight between those 2 otherwise
exception*
The entire premise of GTA (apart from stealing cars) is its a satire on american culture from a British point of view....it wouldn't work in any other setting!
Amazing and I managed to get the PS4 Prestige Edition!!!
yeah I like Dara, him and Brian cox are a right pair!
@Immorals completely agree, I cant stand the guy...just a nasty horrible man (probably a total loner as a kid and used comedy to get on his soapbox)...and he looks like paedo
It doesn't gel with me either or Bloodborne unfortunately, I've tried so hard too! Put over 60 hours into Dark Souls, I beat that Smaugh and Orsntein then I think not long after that I stopped, I skipped on DS2 because even when I felt like even when I was getting into Dark Souls I just wasnt seeing the 10/10 game other were seeing Id give it an 8/10
I put off Bloodborne for the same reason but gave in when I cleared my backlog, put about 50 hours in Bloodborne even b...
I'm glad developers are starting to realise that MP in a primarily SP game is just not needed
Wolfenstein : The New Order, Assassins Creed : Syndicate, Far Cry Primal, Rise of the Tomb Raider (and I hope there are more)
I actually prefer it because I know that time spent on making an MP is put towards making the SP as good as it can be
STFU? Retarded attitude? You don't sound like a particularly pleasant person.......I said I know what I like and see right through these types of games, gaming can be so meaningful and give you experiences that last a lifetime, chasing stats, numbers & looting just don't do it for me. I'm sorry you feel the need to insult me
