I am LOVING AMD right now. cheap and very overclock-able processors, cheap and very powerful video cards, and a smooth upgrade path between AM2+ and AM3(DDR2 to DDR3). Right now I'm using a Phenom2 940 @3.7ghz and 2 4870s. I'm over 20,000 3Dmarks in 06 and I didn't have to spend a stupid amount of money. I can push my processor more if I need to, I just don't need to at all, shoot, I was fine with this thing at stock speeds.. There's not a single game i don't play with 12xAA. :) gaming is goo...
in order to mix and match, you have to:
1) Earn 5 ribbons with that class to unlock the secondary weapon.
2) Earn 5 ribbons with the unlocked secondary weapon.
THEN you can mix and match with that unlocked class. So, for medic, its:
1) Earn 5 ribbons using the revive zapper thingy, which unlocks the med packs.
2) Earn 5 ribbons with the med packs to unlock mixing other classes with the medic.

still trying to figure out how COD4's single player is better... COD's single player is garbage. KZ2 has IMO an awesome single player experience, but whatever, you cant make everyone happy.
You could put me in COD4 or WAW against 10 console players and i'll win with EASE. Shoot, in a 32 player game, me vs. 31 console kids, i'll still win, due to having way more targets who cant aim anywhere near as fast as me. Plus i'll be playing at a resolution that allows me to see them clearly where on their 720p im invisible in the distance, playing at 100-300fps, and have a 2000dpi mouse. :-)

i think sometimes language in games is completely unnecessary. i mean, look at BF2 compared to bad company. Does the random swearing in BC make it better than BF2? no, not at all. I mean, i understand that swearing makes it more realistic or whatever(to some), but, the 10 year olds with mics do enough of that anyways. I wish it were an option more often in games. Kind of like how DVDs were first talked about as having PG, PG-13, and R language tracks depending on who you are watching the film...

But honestly, LBP, Warhawk, Eye of Judgment, and UT3 have already done things that are very new and industry changing and I'm sure there's more I haven't thought of.
LBP = user created game with a HUGE online community and an endless number of levels to play/share etc.
Warhawk = proved that online download-able games can be just as good and better than full disk games.

I'd rather have Twisted Metal Black: 2. (I choose this as my theoretical name because: Twisted Metal 2 was the best game, probably ever and that Twisted Metal Black comes in close second) KZ2 looks great, and I'm going to get it. But Twisted Metal....OMFG.
round 3 is HORRIBLY broken. and round 4 looks to fix all of the annoyances.
1) No more clipping.
2) Everything is physics based.
3) No more controlling using buttons, you HAVE to use the sticks.
4) No more parrying(since that's fake and doesn't happen in real life, ever)
The only sports game I'm looking forward to more than this is Gran Turismo 5. But this is definitely a close second.
I just hope there aren't any fake fighters that ru...
