MS: Yes! We are now releasing a NEW xbone console with better specs so you can finally get proper next gen performance! However games made to take advantage of this will not work on you launch consoles... but HEY 1080p finally!"
or
MS: "We are discounting the xbone by $50! And check it out, if you are connected to a fast internet connection (purchased at your own cost) you can make games run a bit ...
Considering the PS4 is cheaper, purchasing a VR device with it is still going to be cheaper than what MS has on offer.
I don't think you could even compare a ouya to even THAT. Think about it.... when you see something like "the ouya can do this" or "now available on ouya" just think "hmmm can my cell phone do that?"
I don't remember seeing blazing dc emulation on my smart phone recently, so I just predict that this isn't going to be as good as people expect.
Never played gta5 then? I see...
Maybe you should. If you like repetitive 6v6 then it's better for you. I like war games with war like numbers in war like settings. Cod hasn't done that, ever. So my thing is bf. I can think of multiple shooters with 6v6 limits that I'd rather play than cod.
The point is clear. Do we really need to explain it? Ok. Xbone users are scrounging for material to show and say "hey look! It can do it. It is as good as the ps4. We told you."
The point is this... Saying the xbone can run a game at the highest resolution and speed is worthless when that same game could have been played just as well on a last gen console. Understand?
If a medium spec pc can't emulate dc games at 100% then there is very little hope for the quality from a console that is basically a low spec computer.
Honestly, if it were true that it had a full speed emulator I would get it. But of course it doesn't.
The fanboys complained and defended Titanfall when the rest of the gaming community called it COD with mechs. Guess what? Welcome to Call of duty advanced warfare: Titanfall 2!
Wait wait wait...
Who made you the head of the "don't do" police? They can hire as many people of whatever position and have them do whatever they please. It doesn't automatically mean they are working on multiple games so as to have annual releases. It could be that they want to make one really good game. Oh wait... I forgot we were talking about halo. Well, maybe they just want to make the best halo game. There. That sounded better.
Sure, you could...
Compared to the PS4 it is doing terribly. I couldn't think of a word less powerful that would justify the situation MS is in with the Xbone. It was really the only word that could describe it.
Everything else for MS is doing well. Just they dropped a brick with their Xbone. It's meant to be the direct competitor to the PS4 yet it's barely doing half as well as it is. That would be described as... well yeah, terrible.
Actually Toyota and Sony have a great deal together. At their showroom in odaiba Toyota uses the most recent gran turismo games to create a driving experience for visitors. Each chair in the room simulates the dynamics of the car as it drives around the track. Really cool.
You could make the opposite article
"The xbone is doing terrible, but MS is doing well"
But the fanboys wouldn't agree of course. Still, 100% accurate.
Soooooo funny seeing the xbone fail around the world.
All except for the fact that people in china HAVE been buying consoles and games in the last 14 years. Maybe do a little research before making such bold claims.
"But but but they were illegal in China!"
And? Chinese still purchased them. Do your research!
Favoring the PS4? No no no... see what this is called is the developers are using the most power console from what is available this generation. How is that difficult to understand? Even they know the magical cloud isn't going to make it come anywhere near close to the power of the PS4. So hilarious that people are making stupid accusations.
I don't want it. Lost interest in COD with MW2. Even with robots, it still doesn't interest me.
"But Titanfail isn't COD! You're stupid!" (Random fanboy or hater)
Looks like it. Plays like it. Online only. Small player count. Not interested.
In the old days (which wasn't long ago) when someone had an idea for a product they would use their own money, make it, sell it, and hope for it to be financially successful. Doing it that way they got to keep all the profits for themselves. But if it failed they would lose all the money the invested into their own product. So to make it safer, they started getting money from other people and doing the same process, only this time if it was successful they would have to share the profit w...
Preaching to the choir. I am one of the fans since it was first released. Shenmue was a milestone in gaming, just as important as FF7 in terms of RPGs. It set a new standard. There are no games (except a hd remake of ff7) that I would want more than a continuation of Shenmue. Just, like I said it's going to only been good for the fans and bad for the business. It's unfortunate. The last time I saw someone do something for the fans and didn't care about the loss of money was Joss W...
Why not stop when they had more than enough to make the game? This has gone past helping someone make a game. These people have become investors in something that has become big and will make a lot of money. But they won't see any of the profits. This is unfair. How much of this extra cash is going into the game and going straight into the pockets of the makers? It's just unfair that in any other type of investment role (for example a movie) those that helped get it made with their mo...
And where is your evidence saying that the ps eye is necessary for the VR tech of Sony to work? Oh, there isn't any? I see. Oculus Rift doesn't need a camera to function either? No kidding!
But you're xbone does huh? What a shame.
