As someone else has already said, without the 100% install base of the kinect developers are going to ignore it. It will become about as useful as it was last gen (not at all).
Let's be realistic here. It's MS. They got your money. Whatever profit they made from that is probably being used now to lure in new customers. So in a way you're helping them to get even richer. Sure, you'll still be poor, but doesn't that give you a warm and fuzzy feeling inside? No? Well... get the right console next time!

Too little too late. This shouldn't have been 6 months after launch, this should have been LAUNCH! It's a kick in the teeth to the people that supported them and picked it up at launch.
Better games? You mean the multiplatform (and exclusive) games that run at lower frame rates and resolution than the PS4? In what universe is that BETTER?
As for the price
E3, goodbye even prices. PS4 announces price drop. "What makes you think they will drop their price? There is no evidence" the fanboys scream. Well, what made you think the xbone would drop in price? PS4. E3. Lower price. Superior games. End of topic.
I thought the camera was necessary and the thing that made it the better console and stuff. So, they are saying it's not now? Those early adopters paid extra for something they don't need?

These choices should have been available at LAUNCH! Too little, too late. All Sony has to do (and probably will do) is announce a slight price drop. Even without that, people still know it's the superior console this generation and won't be turned by a slightly cheaper xbone.
Well they could not do it, like all the others do. The fact that they at least make it an option is better than nothing. Maybe nobody can afford it. But who does that hurt? Nobody. So what's the big deal?

He puts Destiny at number 1. Now, if he considers that price for what Destiny is, then WOW should have been at number 1 or at least 2. Why? That's where he fails. Utterly fails. The cost for Destiny is for their decade long multi-generation commitment. Not a game, a time frame. If he accepts that, then he has to accept WOW at the same time, and WOW has been just as expensive over it's lifetime.

If by upstaging and embarrassing MS like they did last year, well yeah that is a possibility. But Sony doesn't need a later conference to do that. All they need to do is the stuff gamers want, not what they WANT the gamers to do. That was the problem with MS last year.

Wait wait wait... Hold up! For months and months I've seen articles about the poor resolution of the xbone games when compared to the high performances of ps4 games and 90% of the comments from xbone owners say "resolution means nothing."
But now it's important?
I don't get it. Ms and xbone owners were saying that their exclusive games and the gameplay o the games themselves were more important than something silly like "resolution&...
Other explanation is that by advertising the high performance specs of the ps4 version would have made the xbone version seem much less appealing when the specs of it were announced. Not bashing it, just saying. It honestly would have hurt their sales. Well, it would have increased the ps4 sales for sure.
Let's not forget who holds the trademark for 180 this console generation. Ms

Apart from pc, no other gaming console has offered a fully functional racing game of this proportion and high standard for free before. Ps4 users are grateful for this. I bet if ms did someth...
