I agree with you. People are going on this resolution isn't everything kick but I would love everything to be at least 1080p.
Years ago when I decided to get an HDTV I could have chose a no name, black friday, barebones $350 720pTV. I wanted full HD, 1080p, 3D, Wifi etc. That's the type of content I want and I'm glad some companies (Blizzard included) are not going to settle for nothing less.

If they do a new engine I hope it still includes co-op local multiplayer. That is the only reason why I'm getting the game eventually. I would love other splitscreen choices, but we live in a world where there aren't many...
It really does suck. It's not like a basket ball or baseball game where the character models need to be spot on. I mean they have on helmets and pads and still don't look like their real life versions. That Kaepernick was awful...
I'm passing on Madden and Fifa and grabbing 2k14 and the Show.

I actually think Dice did a decent job with the current gen software. They probably would have done a better job on the next gen versions if they didn't bother with current gen. That would have been selfish though.
I knew someone was going to compare the Xbox One against the 360 version. I don't know if I'm more impressed with the 360 version or disappointed at the Xbox one version.

If you take away the bragging aspect of it then it does matter somewhat. I've had a 360 and PS4 co-existing together for around 5 years. When a multiplat game comes out that is clearly better on one console or the other I get that version of the game. I want the best experience possible.

I think you need to at least have a look at the Xbox One version before you go to tooting your horn.
As far as we know it may not be that much of an improvement over the 360 version. Chances are I can play the same game on my 360 with the same resolution and gameplay (720p according to rumors) without having to spend $500 on an X1 and wait for Titan Fall 2 on PS4...
I agree you can't beat the value of the PS4. I plan on getting both.
I have one question though. I have a Samsung 3D smart tv 55'. As far as I know I don't have a setting for 900p (I don't think no one does) how is a 900P resolution going to translate on my screen? When I play on PS3 the UI is in 1080p. When i start a game it switches to 720p.
Does 900p upscale to 1080p or downscale to 720p? If someone knows I'd appreciate the response.

So what if 3D TV are the minority... It's attitudes like yours that are keeping us in the stone ages of technology. I guess since there are more 720p TVs in homes also you're cool with games that run that resolution because you won't benefit personally?
