All hype does is cause disappointment. It makes a game sound like a god. Naturally it will never stand up to the hype.

The Kinect has been used in hospitals with custom software. It has aided in life-saving surgeries. There you go. Worth it.

The original Deus Ex is a PC game. This is why it's not getting as much attention. PC gamers don't make up the percentage they used to. I still play Deus Ex on my computer. I feel your pain.

"Fads" always go full circle. The era of platformers is sadly gone (for now), but its revival is coming, or so I hope.

Sly Cooper, Spyro the Dragon, Jak and Daxter. I miss the days of light-hearted platformers.

Or their opinion differentiates from yours. I personally didn't care for it.

But I must be a hipster because my opinion isn't in the majority.

We have to remember that everything is opinion. Still, I find this game extremely overrated. Yes, it's one of the better Final Fantasy games, but in the long run, that's not saying too much. But remember, everyone has a different opinion.

General Shepherd is the biggest patriot I can think of. He goes about it the wrong way, but his dedication to America is nonetheless truly sincere.

I have no country to fight for; my country is the earth, and I am a citizen of the world. --Eugene V. Debs

I can see where you're coming from with all of these BUT Duke Nukem.

I hate to say it, but World of Warcraft is the most patriotic game I can think of. People become SO dedicated to a faction that it borders on fanatic. Patriots at their finest...

Well Played sir.
Still, I'd rather have them playing Mario than Call of Duty with a mic *shudders*

Found this to be a surprisingly good game. Loved F.E.A.R. The sequel? Not so much.

Alas, if you don't have a friend to play co-op with, it might lose its flair once you complete the campaign.

You can't expect so many new games every week. That would be too many! Besides, Insect Armageddon is a BLAST, and most certainly NOT a disappointment.

lol perhaps old news, but nonetheless great. Dragon Age does it too. Mass Effect 3 will too, probably (We were so close with Kaiden).

Amazing game. I can't comprehend the mediocre reviews. Maybe platformers have just gone out of style, which bums me out to the max. The cutscenes were beautiful. VERY long game. Replayability. I recommend this game without hesitation.

Thank you so much. You know why? Because they didn't bribe reviewers...
This was my best purchase of the year. Re-playability and a long-ass game. A+

It's solid, but not particularly better than other Platformers... It has a Japanese flair. As much as people deny it, that's a large part of why it sold as well as it did (not that it was a bad game)

Half Life 2 had the rare ability to be emotionally deep and comedic, while maintaining a perfect balance of both. I agree, good sir.
