@Eonjay The Steam hardware & software surveys are made up of less than 1% of the total Steam userbase, also it's a voluntary opt in by request randomly each month. Hardly what one would call a precise analytic system.

Hopefully a Doughnut Drake player model to spite Druckmann.

All it took was three console generations to get a game from two generations ago to run at 60 for a similar experience people almost ten years ago enjoyed.

1436d ago 14 agree0 disagreeView comment

Don't exactly need a high end pc to max this game out over 60.

1438d ago 7 agree1 disagreeView comment

It is. The analog sticks are removable and separate from the controller pcb on the Steam Deck via a ribbon cable and three screws for both left and right. Valve plans to sell replacement parts in the future.

That trend caught on because it's cost effective. Companies want to save as much money on printing as possible and one way to do that was simplifying their logo design. It's why a lot of companies have flattened their logos down to just a font with one or two colors.

I did some digging and from what I can see it's probably the "early access" releases of his mods only through Patreon that may have stirred Crytek to send the C&D. Apart from that his mods are indeed available free of charge through his GitHub page.

"The PS5 specs are equivalent to a 3060" More like around a 2060.

Kratos is ethnically Hellenic, as such his physiognomy is very much European.

Upgrading to a major OS update at release with bugs and support issues aplenty instead of waiting at least six months to a year. Rookie mistake there. It's completely unnecessary to upgrade right now.

Nice wall of useless angsty text. We have CD key sites, we're not strictly limited to one discount when accessing through the same storefront. For example you can get Days Gone Steam for $18 on Kinguin right now.

It's the Battlefield that made me lose interest in the franchise entirely.

Would welcome it only on the condition that they also simultaneously release their titles to Steam, GOG, Epic etc. PC is about options after all. If their storefront is actually good and feature rich then it will last. Forcing people to use it on the basis of exclusivity won't however. Epic and others are learning that lesson the hard way.

@Destiny1080
That is probably the worst test I've ever seen. One is a 2070 paired with a notoriously bad CPU. with much lower pixel and texture filtration than the PS5's. The other is a RX 5600X with a lower memory bus and even lower remaining specs, using a game that runs significantly better on AMD architecture, close to the equivalent of a 2080 in raster performance. A 3070 has a 1% minimum frame drop of 76 out of a total of 83 with max settings at native 4K in Death Stran...

PS5 has the processing equivalent of a 2060. That's a mid-range GPU.

1589d ago 5 agree6 disagreeView comment

Hardly. Many just use Epic Store for the weekly free title drop then exit out and go back to Steam. The Apple vs Epic debacle provided some insight into how much these these offerings hurt them financially. There hasn't been much if any return investment when compared to when these bought "exclusives" end up on Steam later. Their platform, their way of doing business and it's lack of basic functionality and support simply isn't attractive to the market they're trying...

Kratos is ethnically Hellenic, as such his physiognomy is very much European. A tan due to climate doesn't change that, as exemplified by Atreus as well as Calliope looking as they do.

Kratos is ethnically hellenic. His physiognomy makes that incredibly obvious.

It's a Ubisoft title, optimization is few and far between.
