That aside though, i'm gonna rent fear 2, buy killzone 2, and debate about resident evil... i think ill buy that one too for the coop mode online with friends. then we'll see from there.
halo set the standard for scoring over a 9 to be worthy of buying, it's innovative approach to customer purchasing will go down in the history of gaming forever.

Only a moron wouldn't understand this article, but that aside. it's a very childish article, and it's not surprising that it's coming from destructoid, all i ever see on that site is all things anti-sony.
But whatever, this isn't going to change anyones mind about the difference between a 7/10-9/10, why have a rating system from professional reviewers if their final assumption about games, and their opinions, can be so widely different as to give games such vastly different score...
Giving one game a high score, Does not make it a non biased site. especially when that game is the highest scoring game ever this generation.
They gave resistance 2 a 6/10, that would seem biased yes? and they gave killzone 2 a 7/10? which will be remembered in the future, gamers won't forget this, if killzone 2 is a great success, and i'm sure it will be, there credibility will go down the drain.

It didn't get a low score, nor does it deserve it, if you are talking about edge, they are a minority. 1 out of over 40 reviews that gave it over 9.
Fear 2 looked like utter crap, and i have a good hdtv, that makes movies and games look amazing. the gameplay was meh, it was like a poor mans version of killzone 2.
And they gave killzone a 9.4 along with 40 other sites, so why is this lowly edge magazine getting so many articles? with no duplicate reporting?

Killzone 2 is a great game btw.
Both games garnered high scores on many sites, most of which were over 9, and i'm talking about halo 3 and resistance 2. Ok i dont think halo 3 deserved a 10, or even an 8, but i wouldn't possibly be so brass as to give it a 6/10. Keeping that in mind, how could a respectable magazine give resistance 2 a 6/10, while most sites were giving 9 or higher.
