If your game looks like a crappy clone and has no real appeal to it then your best bet is to add some headline grabbing scandalous items such as explicit sex, grotesque violence, drugs and any combination of these to lure mindless zombies into buying your stuff.

Aside from the one or two hours I will get a kick out this thing when I play the game, I dont see any point in using this as meaningful tactic. Yep it's huge and visible from a mile away ie sitting duck. The Brute chopper seems like a more ideal vehicle for multiplayer game.

The original Mafia was a good game 5 years ago but today the the market for 1930's era gangster games is saturated. Too much similarity in visual style and theme. Please make something new that hasn't been touched before instead of sequels that show up 5 years later.
Nice to see HD-DVD get some love but still the big heavy hitters are coming on Blu-Ray this fall. Transformers was nice but nothing close to box office record shattering giants like Spidey and Captain Jack. Paramount will probably end up releasing all these exclusive once the 18 month agreement is over. By that time PS3 install base will be around 20 million and no way any studio can ignore the potential of such a big market.

Please once you have seen a movie on a 50 inch plasma in full 1080P you will know the difference. It is something you cannot deny or even pass off as gimmick. HD is the wave of the future and soon it will become mainstream and genuinely there is a need for for higher storage optical media. Some companies have already begun work on Quad HDTV (3840 x 2160). So the market is rapidly changing and High Definition is here to stay.

This could really take off if people are allowed to make small Java games for arcade. I knew they were aiming for this kind of stuff when they showed the bowling alley and mini arcade. Basically they will setup a few games to kick things off and soon players will create their own games. Very good idea since Java is pretty simple to program even I could make a decent game.
