You spent so much time defending this game against people... Like its the most deep storyline of any triple A game... You don't want to replay the deepest story you have played this year again. I mean all the people hating on this game were just people who weren't going to play it anyway right?
But you run into an issue and it's over just like that.

Didn't know wishing others hardships was akin to good morals.
UPDATE: AMD Phenom Support
Thousands of lines of assembly have been rewritten to support AMD CPUs. The game code no longer relies on anything above SSE 2,
Havok Physics has also now created new libs. Game is now confirmed working on Phenom CPUs.

Yes it would have been better to delay a game rather than cut content without saying anything and just assuming everyone is cool with that.
This was not an early access game. They marketed it this way, they said these things would be in it, and didn't tell us it was removed. This is on them.
I would even understand if there was a few things removed that didn't enhance the game. Some of the things they removed are MAJOR selling points, like the ph...
Have you ever been to a restaurant and wanted to try something new, you read the description and look at the picture and it looks like it's a good dish. When it comes out it just doesn't live up to what is written or shown and then when you taste it, it's not horrible but it's not good either. That is No Mans Sky for me. I for one lost hype over the years but it always sounded interesting so I took a chance and it wasn't as good as I feel it was described to be. Not blamin...
I have put a lot of hours into this game this weekend. I took a step back and realized the only reason I was playing it was because I was so invested into the game. If I payed $5 for this game I would have stopped playing it. I was continuing to play because I was determined to "get my money's worth" but it wasn't any more enjoyable of an experience. The game is shallow and just doesn't have enough substance to continue to play it but...
So over and over for two years they say there is a chance of running into someone and you pull one tweet from ONE DAY BEFORE RELEASE and you ask why people didn't know and it wasn't clear.
It means dismantle the upgrades that come on the ships like the boosters to the blasters or beams. You do that before you take the new ship.
Also for anyone looking to upgrade there exosuit quickly, find a planet that is barren of foliage, way easier to spot exosuit upgrade pods flaying around. It gets pricey but I have more space in my suit than on my ship.
Oh yeah and the multitool can usually be done by the same method, find a shelter I think it is (wh...
Or only one type of intelligent alien being on every planetary system. How hard would it be to put different aliens in those speratic shelters and ships and trade stations.
Or why do multiple races all have the same buildings.
Here's 5 reasons to wait:
Mushroom trees with brown tops
Mushroom trees with green tops
Mushroom trees with red tops
Mushroom trees with purple tops
Mushroom trees with yellow tops
You get the hint now imagine everything in the game like that.
Or how is it a universe with multiple races "3" so far falling into the ever familiar trader, fighter, science races are the only ones in each area? At a tr...

Not mutually exclusive.

This is Destiny all over again... I bought both and regret both.
What does all that education tell you about someone who defends a statement by placing credentials but can't be bothered to write out the word you?
Exactly, this game is shallow and had so much potential. More being added later is a slap in the face, this is not "Early Access"
Reminds me of Destiny which was over sold, under delivered, and only made better by DLC after I was already over it.
They focused way too much on the expansiveness and gave us nothing to do in a large universe that can't be done on one maybe two planets.

If you like exploring and a shallow level of gameplay it's good, if you like complex games with a lot of hand crafted content then wait.
Yes but for different reasons.
@GrubsterBeater
That is called grinding!

Indie games get different standards for reviews?
How does that work?
Jack: Is the game any good?
Jill: No.
Jack: Okay 3/10.
Jill: But its an indie.
Jack: Oh, Okay 8/10.
