Based on what? did they have the state of the art router before this came out?
Moving from an 802.11b to 802.11n or 802.11AC if using a pc would of course give you a better speed and probably signal because the router is newer.
Ill put up my router any day with boosted antenna dBi and dual band 5.0ghz freq on a 802.11n against this and it would come out about the same and I spent $180 less.
maybe their old router firmware was crap? maybe it ...

The only bonus with this is a 3 band network and again most devices can only use two of them.
The speeds are ridiculous unless you are streaming media throughout your house or backing up tons of data every day (PC to HTPC or PC to SERVER over wifi 'why would you do that anyways') that's NOT from the internet.
Your internet speeds don't need 1/3rd what this pushes out, let alone a wireless card on the ot...

You cant say that Devs don't like when people sell games because they don't get any money and then say they should give an incentive to reselling of games by allowing people who sold the game to play the next iteration without owning an original copy.
