Well, they also have Gas Powered Games under their belt, so that's the primary reason why SE is publishing it. Obsidian itself has no connection whatsoever to SE, but Chris Taylor from GPG is pulling overwatch on the project, so I guess that was why.
I just absolutely LOVE how the enemies start swearing when you spook them.
I wish all the enemies in FPS games were this funny.
They definitely need to add in a "run from the T-rex since you can't do jack crap to it" scene. That's a classic, right there.
Sure, it's free to play, but if you want to get anywhere worth a crap you gotta fork over some real moolah.
I agree, too. There's so much that happened during that war that could easily make a good game, including some events that people might have never heard about due it being a mostly-covert war.
Reboot, please. :)
Please?
And with a new engine, too. I'm continuously stressing that. Oblivion's engine is already dated as it is; they should make a new one or license a more modern engine to do it. And it has nothing to do with graphics; it's to get rid of the much-too-common bugs, glitches, and crashes that plague the current one.
The Medieval and Rome series never really took off with me, but this... I can get into this... :)
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
But for me, that's a lot of things happenin' in Vegas. Bring it on!
Heard this game (read it somewhere, can't recall where, maybe I'm just having a slip of the mind) was going to be F2P. Can anyone confirm on that?
True, it does addict customers. I was like that with Modern Warfare 1.
Then somebody said "Kotick" and reality reared its ugly head.
I agree with you. I would hold Fable 2 (despite all the shortcomings it has) higher than ME2 when it comes to a standard definition of Western RPGs.
Oh, and speaking of Jade Empire, Bioware needs to make a sequel.
Sonny. I love that game. For some reason, the setting and story just seem so surreal that I just want to keep playing it. That, and the battle system and music is beyond awesome.
They should consider making a full indie game out of that.
Numbers =/= quality.
It only shows how many sheep there are to buy Acti's games.
Alrighty, then!
Let's find a way to cut Pachter's net. He'll have LOTS more fun with AC2 and SCC then!
The live-action trailer was more like... actiony... than... scary.
Instead of doing "shoot anything that moves only to find out that it's a shadow and make you crap your pants", now it's going "shoot anything that moves only to find out you randomly butchered an entire group of ghosts that were tossing junk at you 10 minutes ago trying to induce cheap scares".
"Deepest, richest multiplayer yet".
Awesome, we can expect to see a couple hundred new perks this time around.
No, Bioware. Just, no.
At least try it AFTER we see how successful your MMO is. Then you might have some experience under the belt when it comes to "multiplayer".
"only non-social people actually likes single-player games.. "
Do you even know what you're talking about, or are you just pulling that out of your ass?
And "every game needs to have multiplayer"? I'm glad people like you don't run the gaming industry; entire franchises would be ruined with that one-track logic.
GameGuard does more harm than good. In most instances I've seen, it's easy to work-around and does nothing more than make trouble for the legit gamer.
Kind of like Ubisoft's DRM. /sarc
