Listen mate those games (MGS4 &FF13) are PS3 exclusives and are not going anywhere near 360 just as much as Halo3 is not coming to ps3 so if you want to waist your time with M$ and get 360 (rubbish value for money) go ahead, but don't waist your time dissing PS3 because at least they've got a reliable machine which unfortunately don't see and are delivering now and will deliver a lot more in the end.

Fact 1: Hdmi is clearly superior to VGA when extensively tested on most 1080p tv,s the majority did not accept 1080p signals from the Hd dvd via VGA so had to be downscaled. (check december issue of what Hifi)

I am a PS3 owner and i like the contents so far, but Sony seriously needs to step up epsecially between now to spring before they lose any more ground to 360 and wii, either games, home, 2.0, pricedrop or the lot, they cannot rely on brand loyaty otherwise it'll be too little to late, so pull your finger out. (by the way this is constructive criticism before anyone starts ranting)

Thats a totaly different situation, but if you want to compare eggs with eggs then saturn was out before ps1 and dreamcast was out before ps2 and both got beaten because they didnt offer value for money and Sega's bad marketing, this is completly different, when two competitors go head to head it takes at least 2 years to see where the markets going and believe me Sony will respond wether it will catch up remains to be seen
Exactly to Compare Sonys (so called) demise to 3DO's at such an early stage is extremely premature and with the future looking so promising (with great games, dualshock 3 and price drop on the way this fall)it is stupid at this stage to compare the two 3DO didn't have any of these and took 3 years to sell as many as PS3 did in a space of a month. What makes me laugh is that xbots writing off PS3 from the start when actually its doing well (5m) in its first year and may well catch up to the 3...
Sony's not going to die on this one trick pony, and secondly if Microsoft is to truly kill of Sony then it's xmas to spring they really need to start working hard on (especially on reliable issues)because thats when Sony will fight back and they have the games and (probably pricedrop) to prove it,
So far no negative comment about this game, oh well. On a serious note it looks amazing and if this game doesn't push PS3 sales then hopefully Uncharted does (but it looks a dead cert)
This article was not talking about games nor did I buy the PS3 for folding@home either ( I bought it because it was value for money with a lot more features than 360, is better built and doesn't break down as easily) if your talking games it's got great games and a lot more to come. Oh and M$ was'nt eh? so what were they doing outside a gaming shop in France at PS3 launch day with a banner 'Xbox loves you' then? At least Sonys showcasing the PS3 where everyone can see it without gate crashing Halo 3 on it launch day. (it's called advertising by the way, everyone does it or are they desparate too)
