I really liked Destiny 1 as a game but I hated how they handled the DLC. It's exactly why I haven't bought part 2, even at $15 sale prices.
Can't get past the first two minutes of nonsense.
""People think that PlatinumGames makes great combo-action games. Yet, that’s really not their intention, as they don’t really have things like meetings to decide the perfect combos to put in their titles. It just comes naturally."
"As a creator, sometimes you want to make small games, sometimes you want to make big games, but none of that is about the budget, but it’s about making the game that you want to make. If you’re able to do that, that’s the mo...
The point isn't that single-player is bad. The point is that multiplayer makes more money.
It sucks but it's not wrong.
LOL To me it was open world done right and I feel more open world games should have content that is related to the story rather than a bunch of pointless repeatable missions that don't really offer anything meaningful.
That said, I do agree with a couple of the points. Thor taking awhile to get revenge and the part about the son attacking/killing the father. Generally speaking, the open world was incredibly well done here.
LOL Wholly hell so glad I did not stay subscribed past my free trial.
Nothing special? LOL I don't even... it's got some issues but it is definitely special.
Yeah you can definitely tell the major focus was on the story itself and I don't think anyone can complain there. The story was freakin excellent and I cannot wait for more.
But yes, would definitely love more enemy variety, boss variety, and a better flow in the combat system.
Nice, that upgrade update is a pretty big deal. That kind of thing is annoying.
It was also unavailable before launch. Guess where I bought it from.
This happens all the time from what I've seen. I'm betting they'll be available the closer we get to the launch date.
No they don't. And yes it is. Enraging is literally the only different thing about them.
So sick of people acting so blind to the truth of the combat.
I agree with about half of this which is actually saying a lot.
My biggest complaint is the combat itself. It's really basic and that really shows when you play on the harder difficulties. It pisses me off even more that they said the harder difficulties "aren't just you taking more damage and enemies having more health." That was a lie.
That said, it's an absolutely incredible game. We NEED more of these in general and especially a...
How is the pun intended if you didn't notice it?
I'm not fatigued but I also don't play a lot of zombie games. Day's Gone has looked amazing to me since the first reveal. I can't wait for it.
I miss Marvel Heroes. That game was awesome.
As good as it is, combat is literally the worst thing about the game.
Good review.
Exactly what Jinger said. It amazes me that so many people don't seem to understand this.
Nier: Automata has better combat.
Atreus is the star of the game for me. Especially after you upgrade him for combat. Dude is a badass. Game woulda sucked without him.
