"made for endless combos that never seem to get old."
This is nonsense. Each combo is set in stone and you cannot flow from one combo into another. The combat is awesome but it's far from fluid. And doing the same moves over and over sure does get old halfway through the game.
I dunno how anybody could enjoy the story. I'm a huge fan of takes on the Knights of the Round Table but The Order is one of the most boring games I've ever forced myself through.
The werewolf stuff was very cool and the very end rocked and made me want a sequel. But this game flat out sucked major ass and put me to sleep.
TESO is awesome.
Kratos is still a dick. Literally the only moment Kratos was a likeable character is at the very end of the story.
Atreus is awesome though.
You mean watching right?
No.
I'd be down if it has actual gameplay in it. Was deeply disappointed how much of a walking simulator the first one turned out to be.
Not much of an option when you have no new games that are worth owning the console for.
Is this one of your first reviews? If so, keep at it! You'll only get better. =)
The combat was the worst part of the game for me due to an unnatural upgrade system and combat itself being far too simplistic. But I do think it's fun for what it is.
I love a review that comes from a person's heart rather than one that is written professionally.
I feel like you should focus more on what you like and dislike about a game rather...
That really sucks. It pissed me off so much that I couldn't go to them. I was really looking forward to exploring even more after completing the game.
Resident Evil 4 was the start of the downfall of the series. God of War is a new excellent beginning.
The first shield looks cool but what's the point of unlocking them? You can't even access every single armor or skill in the game before you complete the story.
It doesn't sound bad at all. It actually sounds structured. That's success.
God of War. =P
I dunno, my screenshots on the base PS4 look just as good. =P
I know it'd be better if I had it on an HDR TV though. Wish I had one and the Pro. =)
Both articles on this site about the updates are absolutely useless. "There was a patch. It did something."
You can juggle normal enemies that you can kill in one or two hits. You can't juggle the hard ones.
It's an epic spectacle but the combat itself is so very basic which is quite disappointing.
"They're Gods, I get it. But it's overblown and unnecessary. It makes a mockery of the game's consistency, too. If I can punch a God over a building, why do I need to use a fancy axe to beat normal enemies? If I can grab a log and swing it in a story scene, why can't I do it in-game? It's one of those stupid things in video games, that's why."
Agree 100%.
Also, the combat in the game is so incredibly basic. You literally ...
You mean Zelda?
I can't believe people think Kratos is worth anything at all in the new game. He is carried by Atreus. Kratos literally has no character in the game. He is the same old grumpy/ragey jackass as ever until the very end where he finally seems like a decent person.
