What I don't get is why these people only think about new gamers. Uneducated people (like Grandparents and non-gamer parents and whatnot) will definitely go for the Wii U because it's a new console, so stores will be advertising them a lot. Or maybe the 4GB Xbox 360 because it's the cheapest one.
However, what Sony has are pretty great bundles! The Uncharted 3 GOTY Edition bundle? That's $279 altogether. By itself, the U3GOTYE would be about $40, Dust 514 with the $30 ...

I know you want to play FFvXIII, but I hope it STAYS PS3 (or 4) exclusive. It would do wonders for Wii U owners, but it would do even better for Sony, as that's a game that would sell consoles for them. I'm not against you or anything, and I won't tell you to buy a PS3 just to buy this game, but porting it would make the game release at an even later time (and we wouldn't want to wait any longer), and it's a game Sony MUST keep exclusive.

"Xbox" has never been popular, nor a household name, in Japan. And despite trying to appeal to them in the beginning of this gen by buying out JRPG devs and making exclusive games for the Xbox 360, the Japanese market just didn't buy them. Thus, Microsoft is now pulling out from Japan.

Maybe, but every .hack game has been Playstation exclusive (other than the card games). And the new game that came out recently with the Bluray movie was PS3-exclusive. I say there's about 99% it will be PS3/Vita exclusive.
