What's stupid? The article saying the game was inspired by PS3 exclusives Heavy Rain and Uncharted (and Mass Effect, which is no longer an Xbox 360 console exclusive, and is now on PS3), or you having not played The Last of Us, and yet you're already "thinking" it will suck? Maybe you should take your own advice, and read your own comment before writing something stupid, mm'kay?
Ehh, I disagree. I still think WW looks better, SD AND HD. There's something about its cel-shaded graphics that still makes it one of the best looking games ever. The graphics look smooth, with little to no jaggies, the cartoony world makes it a delight to see, and everything about it just feels unique and awesome. Not that Skyward Sword isn't great looking itself. Game looks great when it's raining, the forests are lush and green, water effect is cool to see, flying is nice, etc....
I just turned 17 recently, but I still suck at COD. But then again, I'm not into FPSs, I'm more into JRPGs, I play different gaming genres (except for Point-and-Click, RTS, racing, and Music), and I don't have the attention spam to play for more than an hour of COD Multiplayer.
Some of the PS2's greatest games came out early in its life cycle.
Final Fantasy X, Devil May Cry, ICO, Silent Hill 2, Gran Turismo 3, Grand Theft Auto III, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, SSX, and Metal Gear Solid 2 (yes, I took this list straight from GameRadar, and it was a list of best PS2 games from 2000-2001). I don't know how much each sold in their first year, but these are QUALITY games, and they're launch window titles! I have no reason to doubt that if The Last Guardian...

Are you trying to imply that the only reason Sony's biggest exclusives sell well is because they are games bundled with PS3s? Got it. That means the Halo, Gears of War, Fable, Forza, and every other series or games Microsoft bundles with it's Xbox 360s has sold LESS than 1 Mil then. Thanks! I just searched through Amazon, typed in the name, and saw the same one I saw at my local Gamestop. It was The Apprentice of Arland, and it was at full retail, at $60.31!! :O

This is why sometimes, we just gotta let go and accept that a certain game is exclusive. It takes time and resources to work on both consoles, and the maximum efficiency can't be achieved since the developer is focusing on two or more platforms at once. I'm not saying FFXIII (or any other game for that matter) would be a masterpiece if it stayed exclusive. I remember an article about the Xbox 720 locking used games last year. Why wasn't N4G and every other "games journalist" posting billions of articles every minute about it? But now that Sony has supposedly patented it, there's a Sony hate article every second, despite people saying Sony has patented locking used games and other ideas a few years ago, and not using them.

Yeah, why not try Kickstarter? I don't really trust Kickstarter, since some don't deliver on their promises, but this is an example of when I recommend someone to try Kickstarter. When a team basically runs out of funds for a game they put so much passion into, but have to stop work on it due to financial issues.
Also, can't they ask Sony? Sure, they might force the developer to make it exclusive, but Sony would fund them.
The games may not have twitch-finger reflexes and perfect pixel combos, but the games are still pretty good. It's kind of like RPGs nowadays.
