See, I never got this whole Xbox Live "online gaming is better!)" dealio. How exactly is it better than PSN? Give me good examples, and I might just believe you.
I'm on my second playthrough now, on Survival, at 61% of the game done. I'm still enjoying the whole game. I'm losing ammo fast and I barely have any ammo or ingredients left. However, sneaking around and strangling people, hoping I don't get caught is exciting. Even on Survival, the checkpoints are very forgiving, so when I mess up, I just die on purpose and try again.

You think Microsoft's exclusives are better, I think Sony's are better. Especially that Infamous Second Son... Always loved me some Infamous! And Sony... Lack of games? The PS2 is still selling like a beast in other countries today, and Sony still have exclusive games coming to the PS3 this year despite the PS4 coming out soon. Lack of games won't happen.

You're trying and reaching out too hard. Celebrate the fact that the evil internet fanboys, mostly the "Sony fanboys", helped Microsoft rethink their policies and remove DRM. Celebrate the fact that more people will now pre-order an Xbox One. Celebrate the fact the Xbox One will finally challenge the PS4 and offer a good competition. Not the same games, but Mario's still in the forefront, selling the game. It's STILL A MARIO GAME, despite different roles and not "main" Mario games. You're still "milking" the Mario franchise.
Only ones I wouldn't call milking are rereleases (as in HD releases or remasters. I wouldn't count Mario 64DS as a new game)
First-Party Nintendo games are still freakig expensive as heck. I just went to GameStop Monday night, and I still saw Brawl for $40. That's ridiculous.
...But not for Metroid: Other M. I got that game for $8 early last year. For a game that came out in 2010/11, that's probably the cheapest 1st-party Nintendo game I've ever seen in the GameStop near me.
Uhh, because some developers are forced to tack on multiplayer into their game? Not saying multiplayer is bad, just that if there's one game that is able to withstand on its own, it's RPGs. Final Fantasy games can easily take you over 100 hours to do everything.

I'd definitely eat the shizz up. Announce official Pokémon MMO. Heck, even add in thousands of DLCs if you want. I'd finally buy a Wii U in a heartbeat. Just make sure to include all regions.
If you need online multiplayer to make a numbered Final Fantasy (except for XI and XIV of course) longer, have more value and replayability, then you're doing everything WRONG.

I downloaded it, and Sackboy kept on running (love that Dynamic Theme of Sackboy running around on the planet). My PS3 Slim did start making a really loud noise again, after almost a year of silence. Oh well, that's probably my own fault for putting my PS3 somewhere where there's no wind or cooling fan at all.
I forge which game it was, but I was in a quiet section of the game, and the trophy sound suddenly popped. It wasn't even a horror game, but that made me jump a little lol
Trophy notification options are cool though. I read this one person's comment who said the trophy sound on Journey broke the immersion for him. Yay for options!

I would have to strongly disagree. Finally having played and finished The Last of Us' story, i would have to say it's one of the best games this year, and definitely one of the best games to come out on the PS3's last year, before the PS4 finally comes. It definitely shows the best of Naughty Dog's skill as a developer, and the things they could do with such an old hardware. It also lead me to believe they deserve to be recognized, seeing as how all the games they've made ...

Haha I'm on my Survivor playthrough now! Before i continue on further though, how hard exactly is Survivor compared to Normal? And what are the differences? I just got to the woods outside Bill's Town, and I got my way through mostly by just strangling enemies, and only shooting in 2 encounters.

The PS3 already does this. Back when it was released until a few years ago, Sony allowed 5 people to share a downloaded game. However, people abused that, and now only 2 people can share a downloaded game. Just download the game from your friend's download list, and you can play it at the same time as your friend. This is nothing new, and I doubt Microsoft will go through with this.

It's ALL of Nintendo's fault. The average consumer is HIGHLY MISINFORMED and don't follow gaming news. It is up to Nintendo to clarify what the Wii U really is. So far, even Nintendo themselves have admitted they haven't done well enough to "educate" consumers about the Wii U.
