£250000 is around $377K, so that's basically pocket change compared to how much they payed for Gaikai.
REALLY?? I thought that was Wii U footage! I also thought every console uses a Triangle button, not just Playstation!!
-_- /s
We all get bored/sick of things that are constantly being shoved right in our faces, and Mario is of no exception.
Oh man! Capcom vs SNK 2 on Tuesday!! Also, Shin Megami Tensei IV on Tuesday!! And wait! I'm gonna go watch Pacific Rim on Tuesday??
My Tuesday next week seems AWESOME!! :DD
Did I mention Tuesday?
The Vita is underrated. The 3DS is dominating. That would be like calling the PS2 underrated, when it fact it had the most console support and sold the most.
You're embarrassed to be called a "gamer" because of Playstation fanboys? So you're not embarrassed about the Kinect tracking your heartbeats and recording every single thing you do in front of it? You're not embarrassed about people calling Xbox Live as the best thing since sliced bread, even though Steam is factually better? You're not embarrassed about the stupid Xbox One PR before they finally caved in, listened to fans (or rather the horrible pre-order sales), a...
And it was the Xbox and Nintendo fanboys that put PSN down for a couple of months, huh? It's not like Sony removed a certain feature, which might have caused a few PS3 owners to get angry, right? And I bet the Red Ring was all a lie, right? That it was all a bunch of PS3 and Wii fanboys who hated the 360 so much, they bought one, destroyed it, and told people that Microsoft sucks? That not a single Xbox fanboy got a red ring?
Stop with your stupid "oh blah blah fanb...
If even Youtube comments make fun of the interviewer, then he must have been truly an appalling interviewer.
That's why they need more teams to help create games.
And about your previous comment... So because Nintendo's games are "Legacy", they don't need to create new IPs? That Mario and Zelda are enough as is? That the only reason Sony and Microsoft create new IPs is because they only want to replicate the "Legacy"? Well, sure, I agree with that somewhat. Every company keeps trying until they have something on their hands that will sell. But you do...
Mario Bowling... That can't be considered a new IP. That's just milking the Mario IP even more. Mario Soccer, Mario Tennis, Mario Kart, what do you suggest more? Mario Gardening?
Metroid got good games with Prime, but Nintendo gave two farts about it on it's 25th Anniversary. Instead, ALL attention went to Legend of Zelda. Mario's 25th Anniversary, and they released a horrible cash-in with the Mario Wii bundle that had the old Mario games, but the controllers displayed were (S)NES controls. So basically Nintendo just put SNES games onto a Wii disc, called it an "Anniversary" Mario game, and expected people to buy it.
They don't ...
LOLOLOLOLOL
Look at Rambo's face!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
I think he's just spouting off BS. I mean, come on! The FIRST level of the original SMB? Who were you play testing? Maybe he means on the first try. Sure, the first time I played SMB, I died on the first level. But 90% (NINETY!!) of the new gamers today can't beat that level? Who exactly are these "NEW" gamers? Like dtg said, lawn gnomes?? I bet even those iOS gamers can beat the first level.
The first level of SMB isn't hard, and saying 90% of new game...
Please be an RPG! Where a lot of characters from Playstation's history (from both 1st party and 3rd party franchises) come and meet to defeat the greatest foes! Art styles would be clashing (just like in PSASBR), but it would be cool to have a game like Kingdom Hearts, but the settings and characters are from Playstation games, rather than just a mix of Disney and Final Fantasy.
I'm confident that while this game will gain LOTS of haters, the amount of praise this game will get the next generation and so on will be much grander. There's just something about this game that almost everyone loves. And for a new IP to come out so late into the console cycle, that's even better news.
Release date only for JP version? Or worldwide?
Even speed running (well, not pro speed running. Just trying to beat the game as fast as I can, gun blazing on Easy+), I just got to the start of the University at almost 6 hours. That's only 69% in! (I hope story progression percentage doesn't count as spoiler!!)
Compared to Uncharted 3 on Normal taking my time, I would have already been at the start of the desert, and about 90% done.
This gen, I was fortunate enough to have a Wii (in August 2007), a 40 GB Phat PS3 (in December 2007), and an Xbox 360 Elite (in 2008). In fact, I was so lucky, I got TWO of each. A second PS3 (Slim) because my Phat YLOD'd in December 2009. A second Wii because we gave away the first one, and I wanted to play Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles (and Tatsunoko vs Capcom was coming soon), and my Elite RROD'd, so I got a 120 GB Xbox 360 S.
Out of all those, I played my PS3...
N4G, the place where Xbox fanboys come to cry "N4G is a place full of Sony fanboys!", despite there being a lot of stupid fanboys everywhere.
I dare you go to post on a Mario or Zelda or Animal Crossing. They hate everything non-Nintendo. And they WILL come in hordes, filled with 100 disagrees.
Like I said before, Nintendo's BIGGEST problem with the Wii U is that they ABANDONED the Wii market, aka the non-gamers crowd. In fact, they clearly said the Wii U was gonna attract the hardcore. Nintendo, man... Sony and Microsoft have that crowd already. And the fact that you only stayed with the casuals for one gen, that's a huge mistake. You should kept the Wii U's marketing as a "Wii 2.0", a system that's mostly casual, but also hardcore games like Zelda and Pro...
