Metroid shouldn't be on that list. It wasn't over looked, it sucked. And I beat it thrice, just to make sure. Twice on normal and once on hard, and yup, it sucked.
@Alpha. My sentiments exactly. * puts on sun glasses - stares comfortably off into the
sunset - pleased with the world around him * "Ahh... not a care in the world."
Ha!
Wow. Good to see a changing of the guard. Enough's enough already.
Nope, still gonna whine. So, there. ;)
edit: I dunno, I always liked to start off my fight with her and I figured her inclusion was a no brainer. As with Venom. Juggernaut I loved just because just seeing him on screen is imposing, making it that much more fun to whip his ass. And Stider needs to be shown some love, just in general. Capcom KNOWS we wanna see him- what's the deal?
So we get Skeletor and another run of the mill Street Fighter. Venom, Juggernaut, Psylocke ( especially Psylocke ) and Strider, all no shows. Still getting this game regardless, but dammit.
Gimme a new Metroid and quick. Anything to put that horror show Other M behind me. Ugh! That Ridley cut scene... *rubs eyes* ... image... burned into... retinas. Team Ninja-go back to Ninja Gaiden ( which I love ) and stay clear of Metroid. Metroid is of a certain pedigree that you can't handle and for a company that prides themselves on graphics, the original Prime puts your game to shame. I even went back and put my old GC Prime ( not even the Trilogy ) in to check and yup, your game ...
I think everyone has unconsciously chosen to forget that game ever existed. It's better
that way.
I know Crackdown 2 wasn't great by any stretch of the imagination, but me and my homies had fun. Lots.
I wish what you're saying would be true to teach Nintendo a lesson. But you know what? Unless that PSP2 can do what the 3DS does and better/more and at least at the same price point, the PSP2 will find itself in the same position it's in now. Lost to a technically inferior machine.
Boo x 9000 = B009000. That's right, over 9000! Way over. Please don't be official. If it is, I'm not surprised. Nintendo seems hellbent on pissing off the core. And so far, mission accomplished. That being said, I still can't resist the MarioKart call. Damn you! I'm still gonna buy it. *I'm pathetic*
Huh... I would've like to have found that out for myself. Thanks for telling me ahead of time shmucks.
:/
Edit: Alright alright, I understand the disagrees. No argument. I did know that EA always wanted to make it a series. But I didn't know that this game made enough sales and garnered that much attention to warrant a 3rd and that they're making it as we speak. That's all. Just letting you know where I'm coming from. I agree with you.
MS points at the ready. And if it's any good, I'll get it when it's on PS3 too. Love me some Contra.
@ceedubya9: Thanks for getting back to me. Yeah, I gotta be careful these days with my loot, it's true. I just bought another 1 year subscription to XBL ( feeling a little bitter about that ) and that has kinda soured me a bit towards footing another bill. Which is why I had to ask my peeps. I may just bite the bullet and give it a shot. I think the 1st month is free anyway. Good lookin' out my friend. ;)
I want this game desperately. But the world of the MMO is one I have never set foot in and that in itself is usually a good enough deterrent for me. So basically what I'm asking is... Is it worth the price of admission and then on top of that, is it worth the 15 bucks a month? I wanna believe that it is. Someone let me know one way o the other. I wanna hear from gamers what the deal is.
That's messed up, I was just talking to my friend moments ago about that game. But, Einhander, takes the crown methinks.
I say YES! I don't care if she fits or not. Haters be damned! Bayonetta's awesome, plain and simple. She would have to be seriously gimped though. She can clown any Soul Calibur fighter. Clown I say! I would love to whoop Ivy's ass with her. Actually, I'd love to put her up against Kratos or Ryu Hyabusa. You know why? 'Cause she'd stomp their asses too. "Heel Stomp" to be precise. That's right, I'm sayin' it.
I have been pacing for this game. Please 4 player online co-op! I'm calling it now, I'm Hudson. Game over man, game over.
What a bout a level 6 agent from Crackdown 2? He'll fit right in there with Jax and Cyrax and Sonia. I know CD2 sucked, I'm just thinking... or, for a mid boss, use a Beserker from Gears. That thing's far scarier than Goro. And... well, that's all I got. Still getting the PS3 version. I think if the dev team treated MK like MvC or Tatsunoko, the more obscure lame fighters can be made great with imagination. Like, Bulletwitch! There you go. Or even one of the soldiers from EDF....
My Move will sit you back down. See ya there!
