First off 3ds and 3ds xl have same cpu and gpu same with 2ds
New 3ds and new 3ds xl is when the system got a boost in power
People are asking for the switch with boost in power not same components inside
So thanks for proving my point again it took 3 years for regular 3ds and 3ds xl to get a boost in power when the new 3ds and new 3ds xl came out

If the game is being made ground up for the switch it won’t have frame issues or resolution issues so your point do not stand
Your point only work if they made it for the ps4 version first than ported to switch
The developers want to make it on switch so the game would be ported to ps4 if they made it so all these things you bring up have more effect on the switch
Original was on Nintendo only so I can see why they would pick switch only, but I can see why you want it now, not everyone have switch and ps4 like me so hopefully they make a ps4 version for you but at least give the switch some exclusive features if they plan to port to ps4 like being able to play in 2d like the original DS version or whatever
It’s not a weird decision there are actual people who do not want to dock this lite version have zero effects on them.......it’s not like Nintendo stop make the original they still making it so if those features are important you can still get the original so there’s no problem.....two systems with different needs for different people
They both drop frames even the article say it but my point was since they both drop frames there’s no big difference. It’s just like the writer said if you never tried the ps4 version out the 30 frames is good, no modes missing and etc so the game can go either way if you like me who gets every third party game on switch even if its 30 frames you not going to miss much because you get to play your game anywhere.......I only get exclusives on ps4 and 3rd party that’s not coming to the switch.....

You miss my point Nintendo give you two options to buy if you care about certain features then get the original if not get the lite version as long as customers know first hand before they buy they not missing out on anything they prepared for what they get when they purchase their system

You probably won't be surprised to learn the Switch version runs at half the speed of the PlayStation 4 version. Admittedly, the difference is jarring when you go straight from the PlayStation 4 to the Switch, but once you get settled into playing in handheld mode for a while, you don't really notice the gap.
