you know for a fact ms will give up on the core fanbase in 3-4 years!? please state these so called "facts" i would love to hear them.

those are not facts pertaining to the Xbox. your saying its a "fact" that in the future (3-4 years) MS will phase out their gaming studios and exclusives in favor of tv/ casual functionality for the One

yeah i agree... it will probably pass in sales since its coming out on every console known to man except wii lol. But in popularity and fan base idk Halo is Ms's Mario its huge and for a good reason and it already has an established fanbase and a great lore. yeah in the end i still think the ps4 will be #1 worlwide unless they choke or sony goes bankrupt or something because sony has had a stronghold on the worldwide console market since the ps2 but i do believe the Xbox will sell nicely at #2 this time while the wii u barring a ridicoulous price drop will be #3 and sell poorly
if this is truly indicative of an Agent release after all this time i would be surprised if it wasn't a multiplat or a next gen title

what's wrong with having more features? the more features the more bang for your buck. i would hate to pay $ 400-500 for something that just played games. In this day and age Tv's, phones, mp3, Gaming consoles, cars...etc. are adding more non- standard features that add functionality and enhance the experience to stand apart from the competition. The pS4, xbox, and wii have to be multi-featured these days to justify the price points. And its not like The xbox is not a primary gaming...

do xbox ads really bug people its not like they're intrusive or anything like youtube ads or even worse hulu ads the xbox ads are just there usually relegated to the obscure small corner boxes. they're not a big deal at all.
That being said that promo is creepy and i could see why little kids would be afraid. if family settings are enabled there should be no reason why promos/ ads like this make their way on to the dashboard.
ugghh its good for everything except fighters lol and the dualshock is terrible for shooters thats why the Ds4 was created around shooters as admitted by cerny and was given concave sticks and trigger buttons like the lauded 360 controller
uncharted is a fantastic game and yes it has great sales but it's an action adventure game more than anything we are taking shooters you're comparing apples to oranges. and your entitled to your opinion no need to shy away from that. Facts are Facts tho Halo > Killzone in terms of sales and popularity personal preference is a different matter.
uncharted, infamous and the last of us are all amazing games but their not shooters in that sense they're action adventure games. And the rest of the shooters you listed with the exception of ratchet and clank which is a platformer btw come nowhere near the level of popularity and success that is Gears and Halo.
as long as halo is around (its not going nowhere anytime soon) i think it will remain this way Halo is MS's Mario its huge and its one of the top triple A shooters something sony has been trying to match for a while.. plus gears cant forget about gears these two titles are huge for Ms's shooter staple and they cant be matched by any of the other consoles and possibly add Titanfall and xbox is the gaming console for the shooter genre!

exactly for a console saying its all about the hardcore gamers lead off with something that appeases them like killzone and driveclub not knack and octodad which are kiddy as hell from all indications so far. at least ms is drawing blood doesnt get more hardcore than doing a 100 hit combo on KI while the announcer screams "UlllllTRRRAAAAAAA COMBOOOO" in your face the wholetime and gameplay aside ryse does look pretty as hell and gladiators.
