Well because some people are hypocrites others are okay with it because they like what ps+ offers...
But to say xbox live is not acceptable maybe in the past but not now. Now you will be able to get free games like psn+ but for keeps ( atleast on the 360 no word on the one) plus dedicated servers for all games plus theres discounts, and you will be able to share your entire game library with any 10 people and its live so its really reliable
Sony does allow drm for third party publishers only tho

Ea canceled online passes for most of their games current and in the future... But they still might have drm on the ps4 and xbox they been dodgy about the whole thing
@mcstorm yeah thats my main issue with the current DS's the hand cramping and i have small hands never really encountred that problem with the xbox controller tho i think the positioning on the ds analog stick is too close thats my main gripe
The ds3 is sh-t the ds4 tho looks infinitely better but still the xbox controller is better imo the analog stick positioning is key along with ergonomics

Microsoft killed themselves... Sony just buried the corpse! Sony did win but i felt like xbox showed the better games in my opinion probably cuz im a big fps and multiplayer fan! Either way im going with the One sony didnt wow me and 100 bucks isnt enough to convince me to jump ship especially since you gotta pay for psn! its not like Microsoft makes money off of battery sales they just give you an option which i like. on my 360 i just use reachable double AAs...easy. people just find anything to bi--ch about...sheesh!
