So that doesn't mean we have to like it and there is plenty of developers out there that treat their communities well and thats because they know how important the consumers are.
Stop defending them. First they lock out DLC on the disk that they will charge 5 dollars per character for and now they have the cheek to ask gamers to report people unlocking stuff on the disk they payed for.
@Legionsoup
You can't blame gamers for getting m...
Ah so this was there plan all along. Strip the game of weapons to release as DLC later. Honestly this is a step in the right diirection but I'll leave my purchase til the summer and pray more weapon DLC will come.
Yeah until I hear that straight from the horses mouth I would not believe it and even then I would have a hard time believing because Rachet games have never been huge and bigger Sony franchises have got less of Gamestop. I think he was just mad and named a few games that came out around his firing as examples.
Yeah Demon Souls and Dark Souls are 2 of the best games this gen.
Mate giving SSX a 5 is very justified. I love the new SSX. You can add me on PSN if you like to see. I've won over 150 mil in global events and can score 50-60 mil on serenity. But the game has many flaws. Graphics ain't the best. Some of the tracks are hard and have too many pits you fall in ,to be called enjoyable and if I never played the older SSXs I probably would score it the same.
I think it deserves around a 7 so going by that I'd put RE at a 5. Anyway do...
Using the excuses these developers feed you and believing them. Game development only costs loads at the start of each gen when game engines get built or when clueless devs spend 5 years trying to make a game. Most games are given a 10-20 mil budget with advertising, manufacture and shipment taken out of that budget.
The bigger budget games get 50-100 mil and they always sell 4-20 mil copies. Don't kid yourself man and stop thinking these publishers ain't making mone...
What a great article. This website just gained a reader from this and the article shows exactly whats missing from Gaming journalism these days. Articles that speak for the gamers.
Many times I have been on twitter asking when a patch is coming that will fix a game I bought that was unplayable. Many times I have gotten replies from people telling me to grow up or stop crying when asking these questions. Also I have boycotted Activision over Exclusive COD DLC and Capcom over ...
Well I honestly think Capcom have payed off IGN and thats the reason why games simular to Resident Evil ORC have been getting terrible score by IGN. I'm just waiting for the 9.5 IGN score for RE:ORC.
Wait this game only has 1 weapon and its not upgradable. Holy crap that bit of news just turned me off this game. All the weapons and their upgrades is what made this series great.
Also no limb removal, what did the developers do sit down and name the things that made he series great and say lets take them all out
Man I'm sick of all the excuses and I'm sick of people thinking we owe these companies something for making us video games.
In reality they actually owe us for taking the time in buying and playing their games. Without us these companies would be nothing and as soon as we forget that then these companies own our souls.
Capcom and any other company can do what they like when it comes to DLC and used games because they'll get away with it now but s...
I hate ME3 because I didn't really like ME2 and I think the franchise has too many problems to be received the way it is. I have played many RPGs with better stories and gameplay. The controls are too clunky and level progress is crap.
The story is very boring and it just drags on for ages even though all you want to do is just play the dam game. Dialogue choices also take away from story.
Gameplay is also very repetitive. Like Assasins Creed 1 repetitive...
Well I did buy the DLC without knowing what it contained and I am at fault for having higher expectations from ND but its a very valuable lesson I learned from this and I'll never buy DLC I know nothing about again.
The fact that its only 3 MP map packs and 1 co op map pack isn't what annoyed me. Its the fact that all the maps are just remakes. Imagine Activision did that with COD. The COD crowd would go nuts. Ah well ND have also learned a valuable lesson from this b...
Why are people giving credit to Sony. Its not Sony making this tech its David Cage and the Quantic team. Sony are probably funding the project but thats about it.
Great tech Quantic however I hope you put this tech into a fully playable action game or something. Heavy Rain was a great story but game wise I didn't dig it much.
Lol the article says 60 dollars then 5-10 dollars more for the DLC LOL. More like 5 to 10 dollars per character. Remember this is the company who charged 5 dollars for 2 alternative outfits for 1 character.
No I would still have the same view. If your going to make a multiplat game then make it the same for everyone. Don't give Bioshock 1 away to PS3 owners for free with Bioshock infinite because Xbox owners are paying the same money.
If your making an exclusive fighter like Cole from Infamous for SFXT on PS3 then make a Master Chief fighter for Xbox owners.
These exclusives and timed exclusives bring in less players than the players they turn away. I would ...
Just one more extra excuse not to buy this game. Capcom will never learn. Why don't they announce these timed exclusive shit on the PS Blog. Le the Playstation crowd know how important they are to Capcom because thats what this timed exclusive shit is doing for the Xbox 360 crowd. This timed exclusive shit needs to stop.
Man shut the hell up. We are 5 and 6 years into this gens lifespan. Consols are nearly maxed out and all these game developers have all their gaming engines built and hardware to make games bought and payed for. Not to mention that each consol has great install bases than when consols originally launched with games that cost the same.
Every other generation when a consol reaches 5 years into its lifespan games have always went cheaper like 35 bucks a new game. Stop defending ...
People need to stop supporting this company. The only way stuff like this will stop is when us consumers stop getting behind it and by buying the game your showing Capcom your behind them. Well I'm getting Soul Calibur 5 instead now and I'll buy a used copy of the Extra Super Awesome Alpha Complete Amazing edition of SF X tekken that comes out for christmas.
I loved def jam too and as much as I loved the games I really doubt EA or Def Jam would ever consider making a new one.
Nah IGN are just looking for attention and I doubt Team Ninja payed them for a decent score so this is the result. I mean I bet the reviewer played the game on the easiest setting and then bitched about its ease.
Ah well IGN reviews can never be trusted, they'll give 9s and 10s to the games that get advertised on the site but not to games that don't
