I'm just after playing 8 matches online and the game has really impressed me. The graphics ain't the best and the beta has a lot of bugs and screen tearing but thats expected in a beta.

That job posting for santa monica studios was most likely for help with Starhawk. Santa monica are helping develop that game and considering its a third person shooter with vechicle combat I'd say I'm right on the mark.
I seriously doubt Sony will make another HS especially with the financial troubles Sonys in these days. Its has to be GOW4 because Kratos got his vengance and its nearly 3 years since the last GOW game.
Lol know one is comparing it to other RE games. Peoples problems are the game is crap. Story sucks, aiming sucks, zombies take too much damage, online sucks, co op sucks, the games very unrewarding, weapons are just thrown in, it takes 8 juggernaut shotgun bullets to kill someone online. Bosses take ridiculous amounts of damage and the ending is one of the worst seen in video gaming history. Not to mention the campaign is 7 missions long and each mission takes 20-30 minutes to complete.
Nah why would someone who drove a sword through his torso because he wanted to die crawl away? and in GOW3 there was a few references about his brother. Gaia tells zeus that he should have chosen the other one and through out the franchise Kratos's brother has always been spoken of like that.
Even Kratos talked about his brother by say "should I finally try to save him, he who I could not help before"

I don't know. GOW trilogy was all about revenge. Now that kratos has got it and we know someone dragged his body away at the end the only thing left for kratos would be redemption especially if it was his brother who dragged him away giving their history
I agree that some reviews are way off but not in the case of RE ORC. That game is so terrible. Socom 4 is a way better TPS than that and we know Socom 4 wasn't great. REORC had so much potential but failed to deliver in all aspects.
Capcom needs to fire the person who keeps making these dumb decisions.

I didn't say dark souls was a capcom game. I plated both demon souls and dark souls, I think I know who published it. My point in bringing up dark souls is if a beast of a game like that can't sell 3 mil then how does capcom expect to do it with a simular style game.
Also Dead rising sucked, SF4 sucked to none fighting game fans like me, asuras wraith isn't a proper game, its mostly a quick time event game and it sucked, zack and wiki?? mate I never even heard of...
I won't buy this game for the simple fact that the words Capcom are on the box. This game won't even sell 3 mil copies across all platforms let alone 10 mil lol and its not Capcoms marketing that will destroy this game. Its the exclusive content for xbox,the constant Disk locked quests they will charge for and the fact that Capcom haven't made many decent games this gen. If Dark Souls can't reach 3 mil world wide then this game definitely won't. One last thing F. Capcom.
Next Gen lol. I'll tell yous one thing, if companies keep trying to take as much money out of people as they can then a lot of people like myself won't be going into next gen.
To combat used sales companies gave us DLC, yeah great but look at the state of DLC now. You have companies building 60 dollar games with DLC support in mind all the time now with day 1 DLC and Capcoms ridiculous DLC they call Disk locked Content we ain't getting full games anymore.

It only took them 5 months to finally support and fix the game properly. I mean dam, half the fixes mentioned have been problems people reported back in December, its now April and we finally get some fixes. Also the lab has been wanted since launch day too and a DLC filter since DLC first released.
Anyway its good to see ND finally take UC3 and its community seriously. If this came 2 months ago then I might have been still playing UC3 now. Ah well maybe I'll go back and...
I don't know, as gamers we expect more because we get to involved in these games. A games story ain't like a 2 hour movie you see in the cinema but forget about 2 weeks later. We heavily invest in these experiences by putting in mad hours to spending 60 -100 bucks on a game. If a story has a plot hole or it under performs we can pick up on that stuff because a games story stays with us for much longer
In a way I feel sorry for slant 6. To be quite honest they take big risks by making games in established franchises. Just look at the heat Ninja theory are getting for the Devil May cry reboot.
When slant 6 messed up Socom Confrontation all socom fans screamed out for zipper. When zipper finally made a new Socom everyone was screaming for a game like socom confrontation.

Its the DLC that was rumoured a few months back.
Who cares if it cost extra money to make or not. Fact is 90% of gamers would rather have developers make and release this content after they release the game instead of including it on the disk. Thats were Capcom went wrong and thats why people feel cheated.
What was originally just some DLC the game was going to have has turned into parts of the disk content being locked out. Now why on earth do some people not get this.

Me too and now look at them. A shadow of their former self. Full of greed and un able to deliver half the quality games they used to. Its no wonder why some of their best developers left the company in search of better things. Ah well, screw them cause I'm done caring about their well being.
Its about Story, gameplay and Graphics. Always has been and always will be. You can't have a brilliant game that only has a good story but crap gameplay and graphics. On the same hand you can't have a great looking game but have the gameplay and story suck.
AAA games need to have a combination of all 3 and if a game fails in one of those then its an alright game.
To the author stop whinning. FYI new consols do bring better gameplay aspects to the tab...
