I hope it does, but that ship has probably sailed. Even if the install base were raised it wouldn't dramatically increase Vita software sales. It could if Sony markets it well, but if not it will not help Vita.
Similar markets though, but many won't be able to tell if Sony doesn't market the damned thing. Which I predict they won't
Actually it doesn't stand a chance. Not only because that market is saturated, it's because Sony won't advertise it, even as an accessory for PS4. Goddammit Sony don't make it go to waste.
Hope it squeezes out some sales, though in Japan this series isn't so popular.

True dat.
Screw Capcom. We got this.
You know the cool thing I realized? What if you travelled to your relative's distant home and wanted to remote play your PS4 games. You don't have to limit yourself to the PS Vita screen since you could just hook the PS TV up with the controller and play fullscreen on their TV. That would be really awesome. Of course the limiting factor is how good your connection is though.
I would love to try remote play on both systems, but I have yet to attain the funds for a PS4....
Some employ heavy use of the touch screen and/or camera. So they would need to release an update that skips these elements or somehow makes some touchscreen parts compatible using the touchpad on the DS4.
Well then hurry up before the appeal dies down! I want Vita to at least get an ok holiday season for the West this year. I do want them to polish it, but if they take too long it will have some detrimental effect on sales.
The problem is that it doesn't even have the name Vita. Common customers wouldn't know and probably might ignore it anyways.
It already exists. There are Youtube videos on it. :D
The only things I ever liked about PSP getting hacked was the fact that I could play all my old GBA, GBC, SNES and N64 games. Other than that I had bought all my games. I found out about it too late anyways. :P
I third that. My childhood years were the best of my life. I remember playing all those classics: Kirby, Mario, Pokemon, Hamtaro, GBA SP Video, and many other titles. I just dug it up to find that my GBA SP was still alive, albeit with an internally scratched screen. I played about 2 hours with some of my old games, I think some manly tears were shed. :')
Would anybody know by any chance where I can buy a replacement screen?
Do english patches exist for these games? It would really kill it if I cannot follow the story. :(
I poured hours upon hours on the original. Unboxing that masterpiece in 2009 and playing it for the first time was a moment I wanted to last forever.
Can't wait. Any hope for this coming West? I'll import if I have to.
Wait was this a recent TGS announcement?
Still a better love story than Twilight.
You can't change background music yourself. Way to mislead us, Sony.
