sony has just as much a clue as MS. one excels at software and the other excels at hardware but NEITHER of them excel at both. all fanboy cr@p out the way, this is evident if no one can max out the PS3. If they would they could.

without major new console announcements this year will not be the best. it will not have people talking about it years to come. or the most hype etc.
pre-rendered kz2 gameplay should be there. that caused some embarrassment.
that is not exactly a bad thing. maybe they will update it instead of churning out the same old gameplay since COD1. i just can't play another FPS where i am led around like a child throughout the whole linear interactive cutscene they call a game. i want open worlds or at least semi-open, i want vehicles you can exit anytime you want and i want destruction. i spose what i am asking for is Bad Company 1.

so far I prefer the places in skate 2 but i am enjoying the object drop. just wish you could drop stadium pieces in the game and not just in the skate park section. then the game would be truly epic. the places in skate 3 are not particularly inspiring

finally some actual brains being used on this website. it is now the responsibility of the game retailer to firstly, let the customer know and secondly, price accordingly. this way the developer gets some of that secondhand cash. it won't work unless the retailer does the above, but this is where the problem lies. i think after a few disgruntled customers they will have no choice but to comply.
EB games is aimed at the mum's and dad's who don't really know better. no gamers should actually shop there.
the only time would be to make them price match purely out of convenience but otherwise i avoid them like the plague. between their insane prices and idiotic pushy bullsh!tting staff i just don't want to give them a cent.

and they removed the setting where you go slightly transparent when coming up to a rail. i miss this as i can't see where i am going at high speed. the cameraman setting is just not the same
the object drop is the best part of it in my opinion, but they have removed a 'main menu' so your creations disappear when you quit directly from the game to the console dashboard. the previous skate saved when you quit back to the main menu

BC1 was better than COD4 as well but nobody noticed. there are still, however, plenty of people online, give it a go. i prefer it to BC2 in regards to the maps. the maps on BC1 were perfection
